Dr. Mark Sheils graduated from University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1994 and has since served as a dentist in the Fargo area for 18 years, providing patients with comfortable, personalized care. His educational path to dentistry involves an undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and it is furthered by his frequent CE courses in dental implants and restorative dentistry. After dental school, Dr. Sheils completed a general practice residency program at the University of Minnesota and instructed part time at the Minnesota State and North Dakota State College of Science dental hygiene programs. He is a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Sheils is more than just a dentist; he is passionate about providing dentistry for as many individuals as possible and is continuously extending his services beyond the walls of his practice. He contributes to the Donated Dental Services program, which provides free dental care to low-income and disabled patients. He is also an active member of the Air Force Reserves, and he has participated in humanitarian missions in the United States and around the world.
When not caring for smiles in and out of the office, Dr. Sheils can be found gardening, spending time at the lake, participating in any outdoor activity, working as a Boy Scout volunteer, providing a foster home for animals and duck hunting in the fall.
