Dr. Michael Tilghman graduated second in his dental school class at the University of Maryland and received many academic honors and distinctions with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S). Additionally completing a three-year Orthodontic Residency at UMD, he received a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology with a concentration in Craniofacial Growth & Development.
Dr. Carrie Schwartz received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) with distinction from the University of Minnesota. She completed a three-year Orthodontic Residency at the University of Tennessee, earning her Master of Science degree in Orthodontics. Additionally, Dr. Schwartz is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.
As for our orthodontic staff, we all share the passion for helping patients just like Drs. Tilghman and Schwartz do, which brings us together and keeps pushing us to provide the best while always looking to do better. Thanks Carrie, Doctor Tilghman and everyone in that office. My daughter Grace and I loved our visit today. The people here are very professional, caring and understanding. They walked us through the whole process of getting that perfect smile. Not to mention the awesome movie theater they have for entertaining the little one's. THANKS GUYS SEE AGAIN IN 9 MONTHS

Went in today for my consultation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Met with Dr. Tilghman and his helper in consultation. Answered all my questions and made the arrangements quickly. Also, I had a nice discussion with the young lady who helped him during the consultation. She was very pleasant and sweet. Helped guide me with a plan and explained everything in detail. Only wish I could remember her name so that I could thank her properly here. Either way, great staff and I think I will enjoy my time as a patient here.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. My daughter had actually skipped lunch (without my knowledge) because she wanted her teeth clean. The nurse was very kind and offered her some apples to hold her over. Very caring and kind. Dr. Tilghman was very nice explaining what needed to be done to move forward.

Terrible. Over priced and do NOT DELIVER what they say. We have moved our children and also friends of ours are doing the same. The results are SO MUCH BETTER at our New Dentist. They strike you along there for your money. Look around and you will see.

I was very happy with my consultation. Since my stroke in September, I get very nervous about different doctors or other medical field. The staff here made me feel welcomed and I was at ease. I'm on my way to a more beautiful smile!!
