I loved this dental office when I first became a patient. My dentist was a woman, I don't recall her name, and she did amazing work. The next time I had gone in it was a different dentist, some guy with zero personality, let alone "bedside manner". I was having severe pain from what seemed like a tooth fragment coming through my gums. I had an extraction earlier and I figured it was maybe a broken piece of tooth making it's way out. Anyways, it really hurt! I went in to have it looked at and the new dentist told me it was a canker sore and he couldn't do anything to help with the pain. He honestly made me feel like I was seeking painkillers or something sketchy. Seriously. Well three days later a piece of tooth actually came thru. I had a bone spicule from the extraction. Rigid and sharp, it had been cutting my gum with the pressure of breaking thru. It was frightening to have a piece of tooth in my hand, but I was instantly relieved from the pain. And I was also very angry with this dentist. Clearly it wasn't a canker sore, and I was made to suffer thru days of real pain because of this misdiagnosis. I can't trust a dentist that is so flippant about a patient's concern and pleas for help. Of course they had no problem billing me and continued to hound me about booking for advanced teeth cleaning or trying to upsell in any way they can. This place sucks now.

From the time I walked into the door until I was seen by the dentist the service was very friendly. I was treated with respect and courtesy. They were not even concerned with the fact that it had been a long time since I had seen a dentist. The atmosphere in the office was very good. Everyone was very nice very friendly everything was smooth all the people including patients were great. I had to wait a little longer than my scheduled appointment time. But I was not in an emergency situation and they needed to be able to take care of people that were. Overall this is a great place!

My entire adult life has been spent dreading trips to the dentist because of childhood experiences. I put off dental maintenance and work so long, that I just couldn't bear not smiling or opening my mouth any more. The staff and doctor at Tigard Family Dental put me at ease immediately. They were so professional, and explained every step of the process. They even worked out a financially viable plan to get me back to normal with eating, and appearance of my "jacked" up teeth. Too many years of sports without a mouth guard. Thank you TFD! You guys are awesome.

Very pleased. My first time visiting Tigard Family Dental and had a good first experience. Both Dr. J and Dr. A were gentle with me! Felt easy and ready to talk to them about my future plans. As well as they were helpful with finding information for my next steps!

My family and I have been coming to Tigard Family dental since 2017 and have never been happier with a dental team as we are now. We love Tigard Family Dental! The receptionist Lisa always greets my family and me with a smile when we walk in and gives us friendly reminder calls. Like most children, my two sons were nervous about seeing a dentist. but since we have been coming to Tigard Family Dental they don't seem to mind a trip to the dentist. When they have had anxiety about a specific treatment such as fillings or a root canal, Dr. Stacey, Dr. Rob, and the assistants took their time to explain what it is they were going to do and would wait until they could tell that my boys were ready for their procedure. They you Tigard Family Dental for keeping our smiles beautiful!!!!

Trying to find a new dentist is stressful so I'm so grateful to have found a dentist's office where the entire team is friendly and puts you at ease for your visit! Generally going to the dentist fills me with anxiety but Tigard Family Dental is a totally different story and they do a great job. They answered all my questions and never made me feel like I was asking a dumb question!! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist!
