I was using this dentist for several years and they were always OK. Not bad, not great, but recently my last 2 experiences were pretty awful. Dr. Nick was late for the early appointment and had to rush through a filling and crown. My temp crown fell out the same day and I had to drive all the way to PF since the Charlotte hall office was fully booked. My next appointment was the same, and i was rushed through with no concern of whether I was satisfied with the work they performed. This place has become totally churn and burn and I won't reccomend anyone to go.

I like the dentist I saw here but they are just too busy. I wanted to schedule a rare procedure with them and called days in a row with no answer. Most of the time voicemail never even picked up. When it did and I left a message, nobody called me back. After being fed up with this kind of treatment, I found another dentist who immediately answered their phone and I had the rare procedure done in 1 week. Also, this other dentist was 33% less expensive. I won't be coming back.

My husband went in for tooth extraction this morning. Not only was the course of treatment changed from his prior appointment the Dr. Bedside manner was rediculous. When your patient is still in pain, not numb and telling you so to be ignored and told to stop flinching is unexceptable as a medical professional. Doctor wouldn't even prescribe pain medication or antibiotics , I have never had dental work done and was not prescribed pain medication or antibiotics. Will Absolutely never return.

Dr. A and her team are incredible! Our whole family uses them and we have recommended them to many friends and family. We have had great experiences with the front office, nurses, and Dr. A. The wait times are never long and they're great about getting you in for appointments. We have always been impressed, but recently our 3 year old had to have dental work done which prompted our review. Even though they aren't solely a pediatric office they are amazing with kids. We take our 1 year old too. We couldn't be happier with how smooth it went. They have Netflix to watch during your visit which he loved but the staff's compassion, attention to detail, and patience truly made the procedure a breeze. We highly recommend Tidewater at Charlotte Hall!

This office is an extension of the same hospitality I received in Lexington Park. It's always nice to go to an establishment that makes you feel welcomed and at ease. That's what I get every time I visit Tidewater. From the front desk, where the office manager Kristina is a pleasant person to work with to the ladies in the back that serviced my teeth during my appt, I don't think you will find another office that is on top of their stuff like these guys!

I had a dental emergency today(Saturday). I have been to the Lexington Park office in the past. Even though the office was closed, Dr. Akinwande, asked if I could come in the her Charlotte hall office today. I was greeted by her friendly technician and seen immediately. Dr A explained the options of treatment, including the pros, cons and my out of pocket. Before everything was completed for the day, another staffer came in, to make sure my insurance was billed properly. I took over 4 hours of their day! Not once did I feel any pain! I truly appreciate their kindness, compassion, and dedication. I am a patient for life. **Update 1 day later** Dr. A called me just to check on me this morning! Such a great person.

Don't go here. Save your self a lot of trouble and money. They do procedures they aren't trained for and mess them up

I've had extensive dental work in my lifetime, but today was the best dental experience of my life. I felt absolutely no pain and was truly cared for. Not sure I'd ever want to go elsewhere.

The front desk was fast and efficient. The first dentist I had was a fill in and I lacked a little confidence in them , but when I went back for two filings I had the regular dentist who was quick and informative.

I just want to say that I'm not a patient yet. I do plan to be now. I was calling around offices to see if anyone accepted my insurance. A lady I believe when she answered said her name was Tina. Even though she explained to me they did not accept the type of insurance I have at this time she would be willing to see what I needed to come in for and give me a quote with a free consultation. The other offices I had called were just like no I'm sorry we don't and basically they didn't have time for me. Although I still may not be able to afford my work right now that will be the place I go to when I can afford it.
