Dr. Winter is a native of Berryville, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Architectural History and a minor in Architecture. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from West Virginia University and completed his Pediatric Dentistry specialty training at the Bon Secours St. Marys Hospital in Richmond, Virginia. He is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Tidewater Dental Association.
Dr. Winters love of caring for children of all ages began when he worked as a pediatric dental assistant during college. While in dental school and residency Dr. Winter participated in a variety of volunteer opportunities including: Special Olympics, Missions of Mercy Project, Give Kids a Smile Program, and food drives with his church. After countless soccer tournaments, fishing expeditions, and golf outings, he is excited to call the Tidewater area home. Dr. Pam and Dr. Winter were married in Richmond in 2016. Their daughter Claire and twin boys Nathan and Jacob keep them busy throughout the year.While theirspecialty training took them to different states, they are ecstatic to be raising their family and calling Chesapeake home.
She completed her undergraduate training at West Virginia University. After graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, she then obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Dr. Pam has always enjoyed working with and helping children, and her passion was reinforced during her dental training. She completed her pediatric specialty training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where she treated children of all ages and medical backgrounds.
Dr. Pam received the prestigious Richard C. Pugh achievement award for outstanding performance on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry Examination, placing her in the top 3% of all candidates. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, the Virginia Dental Association, and is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
While attending dental school at West Virginia University, Dr. Pam and Dr. Winter bonded over their love of country music, the outdoors, college football, and of course, pediatric dentistry. Dr. Pam and Dr. Winter were married in Richmond in 2016, and they recently welcomed their daughter Claire. While their specialty training took them to different states, they are ecstatic to finally be practicing together and calling Chesapeake home.
Tina and her husband Tim moved to Chesapeake from Front Royal, Virginia, where she was a pediatric dental assistant for 10 years. She loves joking around with the kids and giving them a great experience at the dentist. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, cooking out, going to the movies, and concerts (especially Justin Timberlake). She also enjoys going back home to spend time with friends and family, especially her grand daughter Layla, and great niece Sadie.
Tiera chose pediatric dentistry because she loves teeth and all of the fun being around children brings. She especially loves pediatrics because she feels it is very important for parents and children to be well informed as soon as possible, and she thinks every child deserves an awesome dental experience. In her free time she enjoys relaxing, taking trips and spending time with her loved ones.
Tabitha loves working with our patients, making them feel special, seeing them smile and hearing them say they love coming to our office. She also likes coming to work with coworkers that feel like family. She spends most of her spare time with her family and friends. Her favorite things to do are going on cruises and just making memories with my family.
Heather has enjoyed dental assisting for over 20 years. She says The best part of my day is working with children. She has two adult children with a new grandson. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, and her favorite thing to do is go to the beach.
Anna has been enjoying pediatric dentistry for years. She loves teaching our patients the importance of dental health through games, jokes, and making the whole experience fun. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, adventuring, and enjoying the company of her friends and family.
Courtney was born and raised here in Virginia, where she graduated from Woodrow Wilson high School and plans to pursue a career in social work to help at-risk youth. She is a dog and cat mom to Luna, Gypsy, and Shadow, and has a two year old godson to keep her on her toes. She loves to relax by watching television or reading a good book. She loves kids and all the joy they bring every day.
