Dr. Asim (also known as Dr. Awesome by his patients) has been practicing dentistry for well over a decade and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for his undergraduate studies. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and completed a General Practice Residency in the Department of Oral Surgery at Indiana University. Upon returning to Chicago, he practiced as a general dentist while helping revive the Boys and Girls Club of Chicago Dental Clinic and working with public schools to provide dental care access to all students. These efforts inspired his passion for childrens care, and he completed his Pediatric Dentistry training at Northwestern University/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago.
Today, Dr. Asim is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and he works hard each and every day to help children have a positive, safe dental care experience. Every growing smile is unique, and he hopes to instill good habits that last a lifetime! Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife Umera, family, and friends. As a proud Chicagoan, he is a big fan of all the sports teams, especially the Cubs and Bulls. Other hobbies include snowboarding, playing basketball, traveling, working on motorcycles and cars, playing video games, and collecting Air Jordans!
Dr. Asim is a Certified Invisalign Provider and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Jiana grew up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago and studied at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2008 and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry in 2006. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Spanish from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2004.
For Dr. Jiana, dentistry allows her to bring together all the things she loves: science, creativity, problem solving and most of all providing an important needed service to the community. She has lead dental office teams in school settings and also has treated patients in family practices and walk-in clinics. Dr. Jiana loves working with children and does a great job making them feel comfortable in the dental office!
Dr. Sandra comes from Omaha, Nebraska and received a bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from Northwestern University in Evanston. She then went on to New York University to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Her love for working with children led her to pursue a pediatric dentistry residency at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Sandra is excited to be coming back to the Midwest. For Dr. Sandra, her favorite part about pediatric dentistry is interacting with the children and making the dentist an enjoyable experience for them!
In her free time, Dr. Sandra likes traveling abroad and exploring the city. Her favorite places she's been to include Italy, Banff, and Thailand! Dr. Sandra is a member of the American Dental Association and is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

My kiddos' simultaneous appointments were the most positive dental experience we've ever had. Everyone from the front desk, the hygienists, and Dr. Sarah, were all super friendly, fun, and patient. I really appreciated how they talked with my kids first, told them what was going to happen, answered any questions or anything they wanted to talk about, and then brought them to the exam chairs. I was welcomed to sit between my kids during their appointments, there was plenty of room for me and a cushy stool to sit on. My kids loved being able to watch Pokemon on the ceiling mounted TVs. After his appointment, my son declared, "Best Dentist Appointment Ever!" Tic Tac Tooth was recommended to me by another mom of a neurodivergent child and I completely agree with her that they are truly excellent. I highly recommend Tic Tac Tooth for any kid, I only wish there were a Tic Tac Tooth for adult dentistry too!!

The office is very bright and kid oriented. Parents are welcomed back with the kids to watch the process. We've met one dentist and three assistants and everyone is kind enough. I rated them poorly because they are not nuerodivergent friendly, in my opinion. One of my kids was having a tough time with the cleaning and referred out of the office to continue services (putting caps on rear teeth). My other child did well in the cleaning but I self reported that he had had problems in the past and Tic Tac Tooth then said they would not allow him to attempt nitrous for a small filling. We went to a referred dentist who offered oral sedation (a very expensive option for kids who struggle to sit still) and that dentist agreed my younger son should have the sedation but felt my eldest would do fine with the nitrous. I called Tic Tac Tooth back to see if they'd reconsider the nitrous so we can keep as many records in once place as possible. I called Tic Tac Tooth and they wouldn't attempt nitrous so we will just be moving over to the other doctor who was willing to work with a pretty calm, able to follow directions ND kid.

Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the receptionist they have here. The doctor and her assistants are wonderful That is the only reason for my return.

I don't recommend this place at all.We took both of our kids and for almost anything other than simple cleaning they are scared to operate and they recommend other places that give anesthesia for 4 & 5 year olds. There's a complete lack of confidence on behalf of the dentist or they must have had a traumatic experience in the past, either or. so pretty much only go here if you need a cleaning. However, I will say that the staff are nice.

Buyer beware they say encourage second and third opinions and I would encourage all parents to do so before accepting treatment plans from this office. Otherwise you will end up getting charged over $2k in the span of a year for treatments to be done then redone. There are so many pediatric dentist offices go to one trustworthy.

Absolutely incredible staff! I took my almost 4yo for her first dentist visit and she had an AMAZING time! You could tell she was so comfortable with everything done. The staff were fabulous and took their time explaining every little thing to my daughter. From the front desks receptionist to the dental hygienist and the dentist. Can't say enough good things about this place. Well worth the drive for us! Also, the office itself is just the most adorable place ever! Very kid friendly!

I am not surprised about the great reviews here. We had our first visit to Tic Tac Tooth Pediatric Dentistry on May 11th and it was a wonderful experience. I did some research online to find a good pediatric dentistry for my daughter's checkup and this was the right place which even my husband agreed upon after the visit who is very particular. The room was clean and bright, had television for kids entertainment to keep them relaxed. Everyone was so polite and informative on what to do. Dr Sara and the staff members were very sweet and made the whole dentist experience for my daughter at ease and friendly. We were even able to sit with our daughter for her checkup and able to interact to share our concern and we came out happy! Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I was so nervous for my sons first appointment, but his hygienist Karina was absolutely amazing, so the appointment went so much better than I could have hoped!! She was so patient and kind, and truly knows how to work with children. Her and Dr. Sara are an amazing team!

They were so friendly, empathetic, and encouraging with my 4 yo son. He's got some sensory issues that can make a dentist appointment overwhelming. The whole staff was amazing at meeting him where he was emotionally and developmentally. He left with a very favorable impression.

I absolutely loved this office. The office staff was very friendly and office decor was inviting and kid friendly. Corina was especially sweet, friendly, and comforting to my 5 year old daughter. She is a gem and the office is blessed to have her. My daughter was so happy with Corina that at checkout she told me "I love her". She definitely made a positive impact on my daughters dental experience. I wish I would of came here first for my daughters dental needs!

I took my 12 month old here for a possible abscess on her gum, when we got there we were greeted by the dental assistant/nurse and she made us feel very comfortable. The bedside manner at this place makes it absolutely worth paying out of pocket especially for younger kids/infants who have teeth. Dr Specht was great and patient and explained the procedures needed to get done with detail before she began which made me relieved as a first time mom. The tooth extraction my daughter needed was done so quickly, the whole visit was about 45 minutes. I wanted my 12 month old to feel safe and be comforted by the dentist and the experience was great.

From the lady who checked us in, to the sweetest lady who cleaned my son's teeth, to the lovely dentist her self, A+ experience here!! They really do try to make the children feel as comfortable as possible there, I really appreciate that!
