Dr. Thuy Bui earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at University of California, Davis, and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at University of California, Los Angeles in 1995. Since then, she has been a resident of Alameda where she started her private practice in the heart of the city. Dr. Buis philosophy has always been providing the highest quality dental service to all of her patients with gentleness and care.Dr. Bui is committed to build a trusting and life-long relationship between her and her patients.
In addition to her general dentistry background, Dr. Bui continues professional trainings in post-doctoral dentistry education such as orthodontic and cosmetic dentistry. She is a lifetime member of the California Dental Association, Alameda County Dental Society, and American Dental Association.
Dr. Bui to see happier smiles on them. Beside dentistry, she enjoys gardening, listening to music (especially those played by her children), traveling, and actively involved in various community organizations.

I've been going to Dr. Bui for some years and I enjoy catching up with her. she is so friendly! I appreciate that she clearly explains things I need to have done while not giving me pressure, so I feel in control of my care.

I was with my last dentist for 25 years. After several years of bad advice, or rather no advice, I ended up needing major oral surgery. Left him, found Dr. Thuy Bui and now I feel I'm where I should be. The office is clean. You're immediately greeted by Giao, who is extremely friendly, professional, and efficient. I appreciate how Dr. Bui studied my records, went over my dental conditions, listened to my concerns, discussed different treatment options, and then we created a plan. It has been obvious to me that she truly cares about her work and her patients. It's also obvious her hygienists feel the same. They are very attentive, wanting to make sure I'm comfortable. I still have a long road ahead, however, I feel a little better knowing Dr. Bui is now my dentist.

Excellent dentist, I highly recommend Dr. Bui. She does a thorough cleaning and tooth exam, providing measured advice for improving dental health. She provides a right-sized approach to dental care and is comprehensive without conducting unnecessary procedures.

Dr. Bui and her staff in Alameda are very professional with prompt, efficient, and friendly service. I have been getting my teeth cleaned there several times a year for roughly 15 years. I can back this claim up as I no longer live in Alameda yet I have continued to follow up with them several times a year even though I relocated to the Central Valley of California in 2007. I am blessed to have great dental hygiene and Dr. Bui and her team are integral to my success in this regard. I highly recommend them!!!

I got recommended to dr bui for the first time and I'm very picky of my dentist but when meeting her she was lovely and made me feel better about getting all the work done in my mouth that I need done, she's gentle and patient. Plus the safety with COVID right now they are doing great job!

Dr. Bui and her staff are the best. I look forward to going to the dentist. I was experiencing some pain and they got me in fast and solved my problem quickly. No pain just competent and efficient professionalism. I have gone to Dr Bui since she first opened in Alameda and cannot even think of going anywhere else.

Dr Bui is fantastic, she explained everything and was extremely thorough. My teeth were cleaned so well, I truly never had a cleaning like that. Staff was very nice, helpful and professional. The only thing I wish they could adjust, was the length of time an appointment is scheduled. It takes a very long time to get in there, so be prepared to wait!
