He made a lousy set of teeth the bottom teeth would fall out of my mouth at night and I sleep on my back and never move. He charged 1200 and the bottom teeth there wasn't enough material there and he charged me another 100 dollars to realian his mistake. They where never made right in the first place. I returned them and he wouldn't give me 1300 he only gave me 900 dollars refund. He is shady if you ask me. And extremely rude!!! They say the teeth are 900 over the phone then once you get there they say 1200 dollars. I think because I was wearing 6 diamond rings and a gold coin around my neck the price went up. Dr. White is very ignorant and the worst denture maker I have ever had. 9 years ago I had teeth made that I put in and they fit like a glove there. Dr White was working there but it was the two older men that retired now that had made them. He is the worst dentist I have come across and I have been wearing false teeth for 48 years. Don't go there he will make a mess out of the teeth and no give you all your money back. I made the mistake of paying the full amount before the teeth where made. Very, very rude man!!!

I find that they are concerned with their patients care. They don't do what other dentist do, they go by their processes only. Very opened to suggestions and will give you clarity on any questions asked. Staff is friendly and kind.

called them 3 times and got no answer..... got the machine a half hour after they were supposed to open.... I've been there before and had an ok experience even though the lady behind the desk was a little rude.. their prices are good so that's why I keep trying!!! I TRIED again this morning and got the answering machine and left a third message... we'll see what happens.

It seems like people either love the Thunderbird or hate them! I'm a lover not a fighter. They moved to a new place and it seemed to be very clean and like a normal doctors office. I took a friend to the old place and it was maybe a little dingy on the outside and older inside but I wouldn't call it filthy. She was very pleased with her full upper so when my upper partial denture broke I made a easy decision. I have been going to a dentist in Dunkirk for quite a few years now and while I like their work I feel like they are too expensive. I intend to continue using them for my lower teeth but Thunderbird is fine with me for the upper denture. I think some people are overly picky and I guess I could see them getting short with a picky customer but that was not my experience at all. They collect the money, up front, half on the initial visit for fitting and the other half before the teeth are pulled and the new denture fitted. I know that most dentists don't collect up front but they are in Waldorf and there are a lot of characters around. You do work and earn your money you don't want to have to fight for it, I don't blame them at all. My teeth look surprisingly good to me. I had fully figured on looking like a buck tooth donkey after they were first introduced but no! They look damned good! I have a better smile than I've had in many years. I will definitely recommend Thunderbird to anyone who needs a denture. Dr White told me that he was good and that since they do pretty much nothing but dentures and they have their own lab that they are more affordable. I agree! I have spent a lot of money in my mouth and I have been to a lot of different dentists and I do know when something doesn't fit right or could be better and I am telling you right now that Thunderbird is just as good. It's a tough time in your life, I mean anyone who tells you that having all their teeth pulled was no big deal, well I believe they are a liar. I'd already had the partial so I only had 7 teeth left and have had so much dental work that it really wasn't a huge deal but it's painful and you're going to bleed and be a bit out of commission for a while but it's worth it. If the implants ever get affordable that is still an option. The denture can be modified to snap into 4 or 6 implants and be just like real teeth. You don't take them out, you brush them like normal teeth. Right now having that done would start at around 10k and while I suppose I could do I'd rather spend my 10k on something else but if I were a young person, like in my 30s or even 40s I would go for that! If you read all the way through this and you're on the fence, just go for it! I'm pretty sure you'll be happy and I seriously doubt you'll find the attitude that others are talking about.

Thunderbird Dental is affordable, however the business practices leave an impact that costs. The service my relatives (senior citizen women) received from this business were below standard. I will start with my mother, who went in based on a referral from Charles County Department of Human Services to have a tooth added to her partial denture. My mother went into the office and explained what she was told she needed. When one of Dr. White's staff asked was it made at Thunderbird (referencing my mothers partial denture), Dr. White responded "Look at it, you know I didn't make that". This is both impolite and unprofessional when a simple 'no' would have been ENOUGH. This same afternoon my senior citizen aunt was returning to receive her upper denture replacement. We had paid half of the total for her dentures, since that is the office policy. However we checked in at the front desk at 2:00 and I escorted her into the office. The rude receptionist says to my senior aunt (91y/o) you have to have a mask ma'am...My aunt is hard of hearing so she did not hear her so she repeats it to me as I am preparing to assist my aunt "ma'am she has to be wearing a mask" I politely said "okay, but do the COVID rules only apply to customers?" (since SHE did not have one herself). She then goes to get Dr. White as she could not answer. When he finally came out, 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment to ask "what's the problem?" I explain that my appointment was scheduled for 2:00 and it is 2:15, so not only are they rude they're unpunctual. But it didn't end there as we get in the chair for care and he asks me if I have a "beef" with his staff? Please take your business elsewhere. Give your business to a person who feels they are there to render a service for the fees. It is a pleasure doing business with people who understand your needs and will not cause you and your family any additional inconvenience or discomfort. Please understand if you are paying you should be treated like a paying customer.

Upon first arrival in the "new place", there was an old, musky odor in the place. I looked past that as this was an older building in Waldorf. We go in and Dr. White comes in. He was almost yelling at mom, and I explained to him that she has alzheimer and I need to assist a bit for her to understand and comply better. He removed and reinserted her lower denture and kept adjusting the lower arm for a better fit. After about the fourth or fifth adjustment, the wire arm broke. Not accusing him of breaking it intentionally, but immediately he went to the sales pitch of a complete set of new dentures. I agreed to the new dentures and asked when would they be ready and was told 2 weeks. I then asked if he was gonna fix the old one he broke so she can have something to wear till then. He said I would have to pay for him to fix them. I asked why should I pay when he broke them and I am buying new dentures from after that? He had the nerve to tell me he didn't charge me o come in and how he was doing this out of the kindness of his heart, as if he was doing a favor and under the assumption of my inability to pay his services, since we are black? While fitting her for new dentures, the molding material left in her mouth was a huge problem for her, because of her alzheimer, so I asked if I can get a cup for her to spit in. He was visibly disturbed by that each time i attempted to calm my mom and try to assist her with her illness. Finally he got upset and said he's not going to do her dentures and we can leave. I asked him to come outside so we could discuss what the issue at hand. We went outside and he couldn't comprehend the fact that I was being protective of my mother. He did pay for the dentures he broke and we left. Dr. White lacks people skills and bedside manners when dealing with patients with special needs. Though I explained my mom's mental sate, he lacked the consideration and empathy to deal with her situation. I would never recommend anyone going to this establishment ever....even if another establishment is a little more expensive.

Very unprofessional office led by an unprofessional dentist. They don't care about the patients except for the money they can collect. They provide below standard and very poor services.. I had to return for adjustments every week for almost two months since I received my dentures and they cannot make a correct adjustments until completion of service was refused. I was left with an unfinished adjustment of dentures with pains and sores in my gums. Who would do such an unprofessional behavior. Such action is unacceptable by any standards. Never in my life have I met an low level and unprofessional dentist. I hope nobody will be treated the same way I was treated. It's a BIG NO! NO, for this Toffice. Don't make a mistake that you will regret later.

Dr. White is fantastic at fitting dentures. My old dentures from a previous dentist were large in front and pushed my lip out so it was hard to smile. Dr. White made a set that made me look like I used to look and now I can smile again. Just a great denturer to work with. And the teeth work great also!
