There are several types of implants that a patient can get, depending on the number of teeth they need to replace. For instance, single dental implants are meant for single tooth replacements. On the other hand, full arch replacements are meant for patients missing a full arch of teeth in their lower or upper jaw.
One of our dedicated dental health professionals will take molds and x-rays of your teeth and jaw to determine the gum tissue, spacing, and bone available. If you have enough bone and gum tissue, they will proceed with the procedure.
The dentist will numb the area and surgically place the implant into your bone. They will let the bone heal and integrate with your bone, a process that will take a few months. The dentist will provide you with a temporary crown during this period.
After healing, your dentist will mold the artificial teeth and securely attach them to your implant. They will also provide you with care instructions that help aid the maintenance of your new dental implant.

This branch of urgent dental care focuses on root canal therapy. This therapy is necessary when your tooths nerve becomes affected by infection or decay. The treatment involves removing the pulp, nerves, and decay and filling the space with special dental material to restore your tooths full function.

The young ladies at the front desk was very helpful and good with checking me in...and the assistant was good also, I am struggling financial so I couldn't afford a extract that day but dentist gave me another solution pain killers and antibiotics.

Nice and clean. Was given a price for ct image and when i got there it was 50 dollars more. Then no one could copy it to disk. Had to wait at least two hours. Dr is rood when your not giving him your buisness. Enjoy the 50 dollars you over charged. You lost out on thousand. I was considering your office for full implants. Paying cash.

I love this office. Everyone is sweet and kind and actually help you with the work you need done. Only thing that has nothing to do with the amazing service is my insurance is barely covered by them. But if you want good work done and are willing to pay. Go to them!

I went in for a tooth extraction. The whole process I was in and out in 30 - 45 minutes. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly and sweet. The dental assistants were always making sure I was alright before the procedure. Dr. Marks was quick and to the point. I might make this my permanent dental office.

I would highly recommend this office. I've been looking for a new dentist (and hygienist) for some time. I've tried many others but, never felt satisfied. Throgs Neck Dental was fantastic. The office was bright and spacious, the staff was welcoming and best of all, I received the best cleaning I've had in a long time!!! I will continue with their service and request MAY as my hygienist in the future. She was great!

Called and asked if I could do a walk in on a Saturday morning and unfortunately they were booked. Sandy, who is super sweet, advised that if they had an opening she would call me back. A couple of hours later she called me and asked if I could head over and I ran out the door ! I was in excruciating pain and was grateful enough to be seen by Dr. Marks! It ended up that my wisdom tooth needed to be extracted but it's in pretty bad shape so I had to be referred to an oral surgeon. Overall, my experience with throgs neck dental was a 10/10. The friendliness, cleanliness, reliability and professionalism was truly wonderful! Thank you to all the staff and thanks for the laughs throughout the pain Dr. Marks!

Jack of all trades and...MASTER OF ALL! The latest dental trend seems to be ...Do an exam and cleaning and then farm out everything else to other dentists. Doctor Susman, however, does most dental services himself in his office! Crowns, fillings, implants, extractions... the doctor does them all in the gentle and painless manner he is famous for. Dr. Susman and his highly professional and respectful staff never disappoint! And Dr. Susman still has the gentlest touch and kindest manner!
