I am passionate about the practice of orthodontics because of the satisfaction I get from helping my patients. I believe that a beautiful smile helps build character and self-esteem, and feel very fortunate to be able to provide these for my patients.I enjoy the relationships that I develop with my patients during treatment and love watching their confidence grow as a result of their beautiful new smile.

I'm a New Jersey native,growingup in Parsippany and attending Rutgers College. After college I moved to San Diego, CA to enjoy the sun and surf. Dental school brought me back to the east coast where I settled down and started a family. I'm the lucky dad totwo beautiful children, Sofia and Julian, who are tired of me telling them to eat more veggies, brush their teeth more often,or get off the iPad.

I earned my dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine.Upon graduation from Columbia University, I was the Alpha Omega Award recipient for graduating first in my class. I was also honored by being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. After graduation, I completed a General Dentistry Residency at Sepulveda VA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. I then returned to New York to complete a three-year orthodontic residency at Saint Barnabas Hospital, affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Since finishing my formal education, Ive traveled around the country learning from all the leading innovators in orthodontics to keep the practice at the forefront of the latest technology for the best and most efficient care possible.

Helping those in need is very important to me, which is why I am a Smiles Change Lives provider.Through this amazing organization, I donate my time to provide free orthodontic care to children from low-income families.

Dr. Kaplan was born and raised in New York. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where she graduated top of her class with numerous honors and distinctions. She is a third-generation dentist, following the footsteps of her grandfather and father.

She received a Master of Science by completing an extensive three-year residency program at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Division of Orthodontics. In residency, she had broad exposure to all case types including treating medically complex and special needs patients, as well as patients of all ages.

Dr. Kaplan loves her profession because she is passionate about helping people smile and bringing joy to the patients she treats. She loves that her work helps others gain confidence and improve their speech and bite. She believes orthodontics is an art form and customizes treatment for each individual.

Her research in orthodontic tooth movement was recognized by the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) in 2021, and she received the Thomas M. Graber Award. Recently, Dr. Kaplans research was published in the Progress in Orthodontics Journal.

Dr. Kaplan is married. She loves traveling, running, painting, and spending time with family and friends. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a beautiful smile and overall a more balanced bite.

'Dr. Lav'is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She received her Bachelors degree at the University of Virginia, and went on to dental school at Columbia University, where she graduated in the top one percent of her class. She pursued her specialty training in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital, and did a unique fellowship in special needs dentistry at Helen Hayes Hospital.

Dr. Venkateswaran loves her profession and passionately believes that oral wellness is fundamental to overall wellness. She loves treating her young patients and thinks its important to foster good dental health and good dental habits at an early age. She is gentle and friendly by nature and believes that visits to the dentists can be a positive experience, both for the parents and children.

Dr. Venkateswaran is married with two young boys. She loves traveling, running, and is an avid student of dance and vocal music. She looks forward to meeting you and helping take care of your little ones smile!

Raised in New York City, Dr. Idelchik is a pediatric dentist who strives to provide the very best dental care to children of all ages and needs. Dr. Idelchik received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from NYU College of Dentistry with an honor in Pediatric Dentistry and graduated in the top 2% of her class. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) for academic performance and excellence and was class president whilst dedicating additional clinical time with children in the Pediatric Honors Program. She continued her education by completing an additional residency at the prestigious and highly competitive Columbia Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital where she gained ample experience treating medically complex children and special needs children in collaboration with Morgan Stanley Childrens hospital. Since her own son suffered from a tethered oral tissue, she is especially passionate and empathetic in this area. She continued education beyond residency in Tongue and Lip Ties.

Dr. Idelchik has also been the recipient of numerous awards and merits including the AAPD Predoctoral Student Award which is given to a single student who shows most promise in Pediatric Dentistry, The Eleanor Bushee Senior Student Dental Award which is presented to a female student for outstanding leadership and academic performance, The Dr. Bernard E. Rudner Memorial Award which is presented to a senior student who has demonstrated superior performance in providing oral comprehensive care and administering a dental practice, The Rahmsdorf Scholarship, was a recipient of the NYU Dentistry Merit Based Scholarship for Academic Excellence and Community Service, The Dean Edward G. Kaufman Merit Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Selective in Teaching Skills Appreciation Award and Dean Edward G. Kaufman Award for Academic Excellence and many others.

With all of her experience and education, Dr. Idelchik offers her young patients care with compassion and empathy with a commitment to excellence in preventative, restorative and surgical dentistry. She thinks outside of the box while taking special pride in treating your children and making them feel excited to come see the dentist!
