Thrive Dental Studio is a proud supporter of several local and national philanthropic organizations, including The Donated Dental Services (DDS) program, which provides free, comprehensive dental treatment to vulnerable, disabled, and elderly people in the United States who would not otherwise be able to afford it. The program includes more than 15,000 volunteer dentists and 3,500 dental labs across the country that have transformed the lives of more than 120,000 people since 1985. We are also wholeheartedly committed to our mission of conserving, protecting, and enhancing fish and wildlife habitats for the continued benefit of the State of Maine and members of our community.

Dr. Dan Figueiredo is open, honest, and genuinely knows what it takes to help his patients feel at ease. His easy-going style of communication helps patients understand the status of their oral health and their oftentimes complex dental treatment options. Dr. Figueiredo is a talented artist and a highly gifted clinician who blends his creative skill with his extensive scientific knowledge to provide high-quality, efficient, patient-focused service to patients of all ages.
Following Dr. Figueiredos graduation from Tufts University School of Dentistry, he and his wife settled in Maine. He is an active member of The Academy of General Dentistry, regularly attends Dawson Academy, Spear Education, and Las Vegas Institute courses, and consistently attends continuing education courses because he wants to stay current on the latest and most advanced dental technology, research, and clinical methods.
Dr. Figueiredos enthusiasm for the outdoors and environmental conservation makes Maine the perfect state for him to own and operate his dental practice, spend time engaging in outdoor activities all year round, and remain a champion of Maines outdoor heritage. Dr. Figueiredo shoots Trap and Sporting Clays competitively year-round, and he serves on both Trap and Sporting Clays Committees in the state. In the summer, he and his wife enjoy fishing, paddle- boarding, and road biking. In the winter, they enjoy cross country skiing. They also love traveling and cant wait to see where their next international journey takes them.

I had my first appointment with Thrive today and I loved it. Scheduling and checking in and paperwork were a breeze. I was greeted by very friendly staff who even remembered the person who referred me and remembered things about them! My hygienist was wonderful, friendly and encouraging about my care. The dentist was friendly and made good recommendations about how to care for some trouble spots. The place was immaculately clean and very cool. I am so glad I found Thrive and looking forward to being in their care! Never thought I'd be so excited about a dentists office!

I had a very pleasant experience at Thrive. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and tended to all my needs. The doctor is thorough and professional, and took time to evaluate me and give me his best advice. I'm so glad I chose this place. Don't hesitate.

My family has gone to the same dentist nearly my entire life. After he retired during COVID, I was on the search for a new dentist and I'm so glad I found Thrive. I'm blown away by how nice the office is especially compared to my previous office. It's really clean, modern, and immediately I was greeted by just the nicest people. My hygienist and Dr. Figs answered all my questions patiently and in terms I could actually understand and now I can actually say I look forward to going to the dentist again.

Best dentist appointment EVER. Very friendly staff that takes their time to provide the care you need. Clean office. Perks that I have never seen at a dentist office before like heated massage chairs and TV's on the ceiling. Really great experience and would highly recommend Thrive Dental Studio.

They were able to get me in for a fractured tooth before my regular dentist could, so now I am going to make them my regular dentist. They were so kind and put me at ease and Dr. Fig really seems to know his stuff.

This place is unmatched in Portland - I've sent friends here, setup my child's first visit, and had work done myself and this is the most flexible, kind, and helpful dentist staff. I always feel comfortable, welcome, and like I'm in a professional environment. Finally enjoy going to the dentist!!

Absolutely amazing dental office. Very clean and neat. I went in for an emergency for tooth pain. Dr. Figueiredo got me in that day, he explained everything step by step and made sure I understood what treatment needed to be done. Heather the DA there made me feel so comfortable and eased my dental anxiety. The staff at front desk made it easy to set up a NP exam in a couple months. Loved it here.

Such a great experience! The office was beautiful, everyone was genuinely nice and friendly and I left confident that I received great dental care and will continue to receive great dental care. honestly one of the best dentists i've been to! i didn't have a cleaning in over 5 years before i came here (i get anxiety about any appointments), but they were all super sweet about everything and make me feel comfortable. i would give them more than 5 starts if i could! :) <3

I was lucky to be a dental hygienist for Dr.Figs a "few" years back and I was always impressed by his attention to detail, calm and professional demeanor. He is an artist of dentistry in my eyes. I have worked for many dentists and Dr.Figs work surpasses well above the majority! I send all my family and friends to him knowing his work is the very best! The office is beautiful, efficient and uplifting! Dr. Figs staff are friendly, helpful and will go above and beyond to make your visit perfect. Thrive dental studio was quick to fit me into their schedule when I first became a customer of theirs, after that they are always great if I have a last second conflict and need to reschedule! At other offices this may set me back 3 or 4 months but when I couldn't make it in they had a slot open for me at a very convenient hour. Going there is like talking to friends and Sarah does an amazing job getting you in and out in what feels like no time at all.

Great experience with everyone at Thrive. The office is beautiful and modern. I loved the extra features they have to make the dental experience more comfortable like a waterfall and massage chairs. Dr. Figs answered all my concerns and I'm glad to found a great office and get back on track with my dental routine after the last few years.

I had an amazing experience at Thrive. The team was friendly, kind, thoughtful, and the atmosphere was fun, upbeat and extremely relaxing (not to mention massage beds). I usually dread going to the dentist but this was the best experience I've ever had, pain free, and enjoyable!

Thrive Dental Studio provides great and transparent service. They are efficient and really respect patient's time. I have never waited around in a waiting room or patient room. Any extra charges I might have to pay, they outline for me first before providing these additional services. Highly recommend!!

Amazing experience! The staff was very welcoming and helpful. All my questions were answered, from my sons teeth concerns to insurance quotes. The office is very clean and has a refreshing modern decor not seen I'm most dental offices. My son was very comfortable with the staff and Dr. Fig when talking about his concerns. Highly recommend:)
