Dr. Stephanie Vera is a proud Dallas native who has the biggest heart for her community. She is always looking for ways to give back with her three-year-old son, Colin, and her husband, Kevin. Dr. Vera graduated from Plano West Senior high school before attending the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University. There, she spent a summer abroad in Greece and Italy, studying Greco-Roman History. Her favorite part, other than gelato, was just being in Rome. It was amazing walking to the grocery store past the Colosseum!
Dr. Vera graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences following the defense of an undergraduate thesis on The Relationship Between Oral Bacteria and Heart Health. She then returned home to Dallas and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. At Dr. Veras inaugural White Coat Ceremony, her husband, Kevin, whom she had met in college (and lived on the same dorm floor as), proposed to her! The two have been together for 12 years strong.
I have a heart for animals and serving my community. Im always looking for new ways our family could help our community through volunteering, donating, and providing dental services to those in need. My son, Colin, loves to come along and help. Our beloved rescue dog, Rosalind, came from my four years of volunteering at SPCA during dental school. Now, my family fosters kittens from the Wylie animal shelter
Spending time with my husband Kevin, our son Colin, and our dog Rosalind and watching a great film (I'm an avid movie buff). You can find me in my kitchen baking gluten-free treats with Colin or writing in my blog of seven years, titled Life, Love, & LaRosa, where I chronicle my familys travel and life adventures, from our wedding day to our trips to Europe.
After finishing his Orthodontic studies, Dr. Nathan continued rigorous training to become a Diplomate of Orthodontics, an honor obtained by only a few select Orthodontists in the country. His tenacious work ethic allows him to deliver amazing results for his patients and his joy and enthusiasm is contagious to his team and his patients alike.
During his free time, Dr. Nathan enjoys learning and discovering new interests, having great conversation over a delicious meal, and he never misses an opportunity to visit his dear family and hometown friends in Canada.
From childhood, Dr. Nathan was a gifted scholar, a talented athlete, and a strong leader. He was MVP and captain of the Mens Basketball Team at the University of Alberta and Grant MacEwan College, and was named Two-time Academic All-Canadian, one of the highest awards a university athlete can receive.
After graduating with honors, he went on to the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he met his wife, Christine. There, he continued to achieve academic success and scored in the top four percent in the nation on the Dental Board Exam, making him a top candidate for Orthodontic Speciality.
During his time at USC, Dr. Nathan served in third world countries like Honduras, where he and his dental team provided dental care to underprivileged communities. He also co-founded the Student Professionalism and Ethics Club at USC, where students are provided a platform to discuss ways to improve the ethics and professionalism in Dentistry.
Dr. Nathan graduated from USC Dental School with honors and was presented the Outstanding Orthodontic Achievement Award and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award for outstanding academic achievement. He then married Christine, the love of his life.
Dr. Nathan then continued at USC to pursue his dream of becoming an Orthodontic Specliast. There, he also obtained his Masters in Science through conducting research on the latest Orthodontic innovations. Dr. Nathan was chosen by his Orthodontic program to represent USC Orthodontics and travel to Japan and Brazil to connect with and share ideas with his international peers.
Dr. Cindy Kang focuses on providing quality dental care to patients of all ages. She loves to create beautiful smiles and enjoys making long lasting relationships with her patients. She is also very detailed in her dental work and committed to providing long term oral health.
In her spare time, Dr. Kang enjoys spending time with her family. She is a mother of two young boys who certainly keep her busy when she is not at work! Dr. Kang also enjoys giving back to the community, and has served on several dental mission trips to third world countries.

Sachse dental location is my favorite. The staff and Dr. Vera are very professional and lovely, specially Kim at front desk, she is very helpful and friendly to talk to. Highly recommended.

Dr. Nate and staff are AWESOME!! Always prepared to work with us on any course of action and payment plans. We've been here for years and never going anywhere else. Miss Dr. Christine and the puppy dog though.

Dr. Nate is the coolest orthodontist ever! Super real guy who was fun to talk to. Got braces same day I walked in, and everything was super easy. The office is also very nice and the staff are so warm and welcoming. You'll love it here!

My experience at Thrive Dental in Sachse was great! My dentist Dr. Vera was awesome as always. She answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. The office staff is very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Very efficient front desk. Dental assistant was great and I loved the dentist!! Went in today for a 6 month check up. Office staff efficient. Took into account that I do have dental insurance. Hygienist was great. The new dentist was very thorough.

Best dental office I've ever been to hands down! The staff is always super accommodating and friendly. They ask if you want something to drink or even if you want a blanket. Also I love how beautiful and inviting the office is. Definitely not your average dentist office. Very boujee feeling at a non boujee price if that makes sense lol. Dr. Vera is incredibly gentle. Every time I get my cleaning I feel no pain or pressure. Plus she's super nice and treats her assistants with respect. Which I noticed and appreciated as a former DA.

The entire staff is awesome, they always make us feel special we had been seeing Orthodontist for our daughter and the Dentist for the whole family for almost 2yrs. We all get excited every time there is an appointment... everyone goes above and beyond to help out with scheduling, making the kids feel comfortable etc. The entire reception staff ( Chelsea & Christy are the best), the dental hygienists and the docs are all great. Dr. NATE (SACHSE) & Dr. REDDY ( RICHARDSON) are our favorite!!!

So, this was my first time at this dental office, and I can say I'm thoroughly impressed with a lot of aspects (being completely honest, my rating and review is not swayed by any promotions). I do have sensory issues, so I appreciate how "lowkey" everything in the office is, from staging and decorations to the smell. The staff is so nice no matter what area you happen to be in at the time, very pleasant to be around and make small conversation, which is especially important for someone as awkward as I am. Overall, I believe Thrive can build a very established patient base if they keep up the good work. Thank you for making my visit so comfortable!

I have been to 4 different doctors in a week and no one couldn't figure out what the issue was with my tooth. I was in pain for 2 weeks but Dr Alekhya got right to the problem and fixed it right away. Very professional and loves her job and you can tell she knows what she is talking about. She gives her 100% while working on your tooth . The best doctor I have come across. God bless her

**PEDIATRIC** I have been to three pediatric dentist and was ready to give up before a friend of mine referred me to thrive. My daughter is HIGH anxiety and sound sensitive and every other dentist referred her to full sedation at a hospital but Dr. Vera and her staff made my daughter so comfortable and was able to complete the work she needed to get done. She even discovered that 3 teeth I was told needed to be capped actually didn't! Two of which didn't have a cavity and the other was fixed with a filling. They moved at my daughters pace, letting her take breaks when SHE needed and even provided her headphones and sunglasses. They never made us feel like we were taking up their time and gave us 100% of their attention. My daughter left the office with a big smile and two thumbs up! I am so thankful I found this office and will be returning for the whole family.
