Dr. Sharma was blessed to have the opportunity to have lived around the globe, from being born in Dusseldorf in Germany to completing her schooling in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and then moving to India for her Bachelors in Dental Surgery (BDS) from SDM College of Dental Sciences to finally being accepted into NYU College of Dentistry and graduating with a DDS degree along with Honors in Orofacial Medicine.

Dr. Sharma relocated to Dallas and has been practicing in North Texas since 2013. She is very passionate about educating teens and young adults to prevent cavities - counseling them to make healthier food and drink choices. She performs a wide variety of dental services including cosmetic restorations, veneers, endodontic and oral surgery procedures.

Dr. Nidhi Sharma has been practicing Dentistry since 2013. Dr. Sharma chose to become a Dentist after receiving comprehensive orthodontic treatment and personally observing how transformative dentistry can be.

'I grew up in Plano, TX and moved away for college and dental school, but I found my heart was always back here in Dallas. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Pittsburgh, and as much as I miss and love that city, I do not miss the frigid cold one bit!

I continued my dental education by completing a General Practice Residency program at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to gain valuable experience working in a hospital setting with oral surgeons and other dental specialists. I always strive to gain more knowledge and sharpen my skills to provide the best possible care for my patients. I also love working with kids.'

'I love to travel and see new places. I have family all over the world so travelling has been a big part of my life since I was a child. One of my favorite places in the world is Cairo, Egypt; I 'll never forget the incredible experience of standing and gazing in awe at the magnificent pyramids. I have recently married the love of my life and we share a passion for going on new adventures. '

'There is so much that makes me happy. Spending time laughing and relaxing with my friends and family is high up on the list. My guilty pleasure is binge-watching reality TV and I dont feel bad about it! I 'm also an avid enthusiast of True Crime books, podcasts, and documentaries.'

She fell in love with the precious villagers, who were so full of joy and gratitude for the little our team was able to offer for such great need.

I believe in the power of nature to promote wellness and peace. I love adorning our dental home with lots of flowers & plants to bring life and joy into our space. Once, someone walked in and asked, 'Is this a flower shop?' To me, this means a job well done :)

In July 2022 I moved from California to Frisco, TX. I had a great 25 year client/Dentist relationship in CA. Dentistry and the health of my teeth are very important to me. I was apprehensive in finding a new Dentist and supporting staff in-kind. My daughter moved from CA to TX earlier this year; she had an extreme dislike for the Dentist. However, she reluctantly visited Thrive Dental and Orthodontics-Frisco, and she was instantly an enthusiast of Thrive Dental! My daughter recommended me to make an appointment. The office is bright, comfortable and welcoming. ALL the young woman at the front desk are very professional and personable. Meghan, the dental assistant enthusiastically greeted me, she gingerly walked me through my xrays, and processes. Meghan is engaging and patient. Natasha, my hygienist is an artist in her craft, she is very detail-oriented. Her personality is pleasant and she is amusing. Dr Sharma is Awesome. She is well knowledged, hospitable, meticulous and caring. Heather, the Office Manager is very down to earth and was very accommodating in explaining the payment plan that best suited me. Thrive Dentals payment options are much better than in California! I am pleasantly surprised, this experience was my same day service. My SMILE is gorgeous and my overall teeth health are in capable hands. I have found my forever Dental home!! I highly recommend them!

I would like to give a huge Thank You to Dr. David for his excellent and professional work! I went in to have all 4 of my wisdom teeth extracted and I must say this was one of the best experiences I've had at Thrive Dental in Frisco, Tx. This was my first time having any extractions done so I was extremely nervous, but Dr. David's great sense of humor and pleasing demeanor helped to reassure I was in great hands. He's very attentive and has an immaculate skillset and knowledge in this profession. If you have any concerns and/or questions, Dr. David will ensure they are answered before starting the procedure. I walked away with manageable pain and it has been a little over 48 hours and I only needed pain meds the first day of my procedure. I've only experienced the normal tenderness and swelling. Also a huge Thank You to assist Megan! She was by my side the entire time and was a huge help in keeping my mind off of the procedure. Megan ensured I went home with all the instructions needed for aftercare and was very kind and patient in meeting my needs. Thrive Dental never disappoints. The entire staff is great and will always greet you with a smile and awesome customer service!!

Beautiful, clean office. Everyone is very friendly. Doctor did a great job identifying fillings I needed and filled them. They make sure you are very comfortable throughout the visit, even have Netflix for you to watch. Also provide complimentary custom whitening treys for your teeth. The only relatively negative thing I will say is that I felt the hygienist who polished/flossed my teeth rushed through it, my teeth did not feel as clean as they normally do after a cleaning.

Before moving to Frisco, I had a wonderful dentist in Carrollton! I thought there would be no one to replace him. I was pleasantly wrong! The staff at Thrive Dental and Orthodontics are nothing short of superb! The office is clean and welcoming. All who work the reception area are friendly and easy to talk to. Today's work involved filling five cavities. While I can't say going to the dentist is pleasurable, I will say it was painless! Dental hygienist Yami and Dr. Sharma were excellent in taking care of my procedure. I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. They both were attentive to my needs. And they both kept me at ease by putting on my choice of Netflix programming to watch while they worked their magic. I'm so happy to be a customer of Thrive Dental and Orthodontics. It feels good knowing I have no fear having the staff work on my oral health needs. Thank you, Yami and Dr. Sharma!
