Dr. Mohammed A.R. Khan has been practicing oral surgery in Western PA since 2000. A native of India, Dr. Khan moved to the United States as a teenager, attending the College of DuPage in Glenn Ellyn, IL, where he received his Associate Science Degree with Honors. He then completed a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
In 1993, Dr. Khan moved to New York City to study dentistry at Columbia University, graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He completed a four-year residency program at Lincoln Medical and Mental Hospital in the Bronx in New York City from 1993 to 1997, with intensive training in emergency and trauma cases. Dr. Khan was Chief Resident from 1996 to 1997.
Dr. Khan believes in the value medical education provides to the practice of Oral Surgery. He completed a Doctor of Medicine degree from New York Medical College in 2000. Upon completion of his medical degree, Dr. Khan and his wife Afshan and their family moved to the Pittsburgh area, where his wife Afshan grew up and has been a lifelong resident. He has been selected as one of the Top Dentist in Pittsburgh Magazine four years in row.

Everyone did so well with me! They all took the time & explained everything before & after. They made sure I was well taken care of, the doctor did amazing. Overall I couldn't have had asked for a better experience. I definitely would recommend.

Very nice people!! I felt no stress or discomfort they make u feel at home an explain the process very well ! I was nervous walking into surgery but they did everything to make that go away ! 5 stars to everyone involved !

Everyone here is absolutely wonderful! I had a way better experience here than any other oral surgeon I've seen. One day out from surgery and no debilitating pain. Absolutely wonderful. I recommend Dr. Khan and his team anyday!

I was referred to this office by my regular dentist for wisdom teeth removal. I just got off the phone with the receptionist and she made me feel unwanted enough I felt I needed to leave this review. One her demeanor is unwelcoming , then while I was giving her my personal information, I spoke to fast spelling the name of my city and she got loud and said that I was going to fast for her. Then It was "we do not accept your insurance " your gonna have to call the back of your card and find somewhere else to go. Not even giving me knowledge of Payments could be made or anything. Rude lady . Being the first to represent someone's business with a bad attitude. Good luck with that!

The staff and Dr. Khan were awesome. My daughter suffers with social anxiety and a major fear of dentist. The staff all made her comfortable and were quick. She has very minimal pain. Highly recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Khan. I was extremely nervous to have three impacted wisdom teeth removed, but Dr. Khan made sure I knew I had nothing to worry about! Not only are he and his staff friendly, they are also very good about explaining what happens during and after the surgery, which really reduced my anxiety! The front desk is so friendly and helpful, and answers any and all questions you might have! I would definitely recommend his office to anyone needing oral surgery!

Dr Mohamed Kahn is the absolute best!!! I was in terrible pain with a tooth that needed extracted. I called the office and they got me in right away. I was welcomed by a staff of employees who were so very nice and comforting to me. Dr. Kahn came in with such a nice personality and took care of what needed done. He extracted the tooth with no pain whatsoever. I actually couldn't believe it was out. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn and I am so thankful he is my dentist!

DR Khan is a fantastic oral surgeon! I have had my wisdom teeth removed in 2018 with his office and had very little pain! Recently last week he did a tooth extraction and same results! Great staff and always had a safe and comfortable experience!

Very pleased with Dr. Khan and his staff! My longtime dentist referred me to him because I needed a tooth extracted which was abscessed and giving me much discomfort and trouble in general. One of the things I found so helpful is they (Three Rivers Oral Surgery) took me weeks (even months) before anyone else would schedule me. Also, the environment in his office is very clean and calming so I felt like I was in the right place as soon as I walked in. His process is straightforward, professional, and much to my surprise virtually pain free! He personally has an excellent bedside manner and you can just tell he cares very much for his patients and so do the people who work for him. I traveled about an hour to get there and let me tell you it was worth the trip. Next I'll be returning to his office for an implant procedure and I no longer have anxiety about any of this and it's only because Dr. Khan and his staff did such a wonderful job!
