Dr. Adam Feuer grew up in the South Hills of Pittsburgh and received his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and philosophy from Rochester Institute of Technology. He then attended Ohio State University where he was working towards a PhD in gene therapy and virology before deciding to change career paths. It was then that he returned to Pittsburgh and earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dentistry. After working as a general dentist, his passion for endodontics led him to return to the University of Pittsburgh where he completed an intensive two year residency. Upon receiving his Specialty Certification in Endodontics, he worked for several years as an endodontist in the Pittsburgh area before deciding to open up Three Rivers Endodontics in Moon Township and in Shadyside. Additionally, he holds part-time faculty positions at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in the Department of Endodontics and at Allegheny General Hospital Dental Department, supervising dental students and residents.
Dr. Feuer currently maintains membership in multiple professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Western Pennsylvania Dental Society and American Association of Endodontics. Dr. Feuer enjoys hiking, skiing and biking. He lives in Robinson with his wife, Brittany, and his daughter, Charlie.
Dr. Sumei Zhong Sharma is a native of New Orleans. She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in 2015. Among some of the accomplishments and awards she received during that time included the American Academy of Periodontology, American Association of Endodontist Student Achievement Award, and American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Accomplishment Award. But her proudest achievement was graduating with top honors and being selected to join the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
While in dental school, Dr. Sharma met her husband who is a native of Erie, Pennsylvania. When she decided to pursue a specialty in endodontics, they relocated to Pittsburgh where she completed her two-year residency from University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and received her Specialty Certification in Endodontics.
Dr. Sharma is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania. In her free time, if she is not teaching root canal treatments to the dental residents at the Allegheny General Hospital Dental Department, she enjoys the outdoors and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with her husband and two young sons.
Dr. Morgan Palya is a native of Southwestern Pennsylvania. She went to Washington & Jefferson College for her undergraduate degree where she majored in Cell/Molecular biology and was a member of the womens soccer team. Dr. Palya went on to earn her DMD from the University of Pittsburgh. During her time at Pitt she served as one of the first female Grand Masters of the fraternity Delta Sigma Delta.
Upon graduation, she completed an intensive general practice residency program at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. It was at this residency that Dr. Palya fell in love with the practice of endodontics. Afterward, she practiced privately for one year before graduating summa cum laude from a 2.5 year endodontic residency at The Ohio State University, in Columbus, OH.
When Dr. Palya is not at work she loves to get outdoors. She enjoys cycling, running, reading new books, learning new things (currently shes learning to speak Spanish and play the ukulele). She also loves spending time with her partner, family, and friends. Dr. Palya can be identified by her spirited, albeit off-key, singing.
Dr. Richard (Ricky) Craven grew up in Bolivar, Ohio, where Ricky was valedictorian and a 4-year letterman in football and wrestling. After high school, he went on to complete his BS in Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. Craven attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating with his DMD in 2015. He was awarded the Deans Scholarship for each year he attended. After completing a GPR residency at the Pittsburgh VA Healthcare System and spending several years in general practice, Dr. Craven returned to the University of Pittsburgh to complete his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics in 2021.
Dr. Craven is a compassionate care provider, working to repair damage caused by sporting events, helping special needs patients and military staff, and providing the best care for all patients. Dr. Craven has previously worked serving military members for readiness exams, and worked in college as a nurses aide in the UPMC healthcare system.
Dr. Craven currently works as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in the Endodontics Department, and volunteers for the Mission of Mercy dental service whenever possible.
In his free time, Dr. Craven enjoys spending time with his long-time girlfriend, Nam, going to live music shows, playing guitar, traveling, cooking, and gardening. He is also an avid Steelers and UFC fan (and tragically, a loyal Pittsburgh Pirates fan).
