Daniel Elbert, DDS was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU Dr. Elbert finished an honors program in Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Elbert provides a full range of dental services encompassing prevention, restorative, orthodontics, implant, and cosmetic dentistry. In addition, Dr. Elbert is continually up-to-date in the latest dental technology and advances.
He truly loves dentistry and spends hours reading the latest dental literature and hundreds of hours each year attending lectures on new procedures and materials. Dr. Elbert also loves dentistry because of his great patients. He takes the time to get to know each patient. The extra time is appreciated by everyone who comes to him. He not only cares about what has to be done in order to have good dental health but he also takes the time to get to know the patient 's 'wants'. This type of commitment is not only evident by the great dentistry he gives his patients, but also by the smile on his patients ' faces.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Santa Barbara Ventura County Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and California Dental Association. Dr. Elbert enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife have two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Alexandra. In his spare time, Dr. Elbert is an avid sports fan. He likes to play basketball, golf, and tennis.
Eric Bui, DMD was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA. Before attending dental school, he graduated with a Masters degree in Oral Biology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Where he then went on to do research for a start-up biotech company to try to develop a pharmaceutical that could potentially cure dental cavities. After that, he went on to cultivate his clinical skills and develop an eye for esthetics when he graduated dental school on the Deans list from Western University of Health Sciences. Dr. Bui enjoys taking continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry, but is most passionate in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, and sleep apnea. Many patients highly review Dr. Bui for his gentle hands, esthetic artistry, good bed side manner, and thoroughness in explaining diagnosis and treatment. He also values a conservative approach to dentistry and also a comprehensive health approach; treating the mouth as a window to the bodys health.
Dr. Bui is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and American Dental Association. He enjoys going to the beach to surf and dive, snowboarding, going to live concerts, and learning about fashion and culture.
Alex Lopez, DDS has a deep commitment to Periodontics, is a gifted surgeon, and brings over 20 years of experience to our practice. Dr. Lopez is a graduate of Northwestern University Dental School and then went on to specialize in Periodontics at the University of Southern California. Dr. Lopez is one of a unique group of surgeons who is board certified in both Periodontology and Implant Surgery. Dr. Lopez stays current with the latest technology in his field and is a proponent of computer assistant implant surgery. This aids in precise placement of dental implants and leads to ideal results both surgically and restoratively. In many cases, this minimizes the extent of surgery that needs to be performed, and thus, a faster recovery for the patient. Dr. Lopez brings to his craft an undeniable confidence and strength, combined with a gentle bed side manner. This makes a visit to the Periodontist informative and comforting. Dr. Lopez is a proud father of two, an avid golfer, and is in the process of becoming a decent Salsa dancer with his wife Julie of over 20 years.
Christy is one of our Dental Hygienists. She graduated from Dental Hygiene School at Pasadena City College in 2011. She was then awarded by the Western Society of Periodontology with having proved the highest skill and proficiency in periodontics. She has been certified in Laser Assisted Periodontal Therapies for 9 years. Christy's goal in patient care is to create a close and trusting relationship with each of you, keep you and your teeth healthy with the most comfortable techniques, and make your visits fun! Christy loves to keep updated in her field. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring, trying different cuisines, drawing, singing, dancing, painting, walking, hiking, baking, watching football, and doting on her beloved husband, dog, and cat.
