Becoming an orthodontist is extremely rewarding. I feel fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful profession. Not only do I enjoy creating beautiful, healthy smiles, I also enjoy meeting and building relationships with children, teens, adults, and families in our community. With orthodontics, my team and I change lives every day! The ability to give children and adults more confidence by changing their smile is priceless. For some, its restoring the ability to eat and chew without difficulty or pain.
My drive to become an orthodontist began when I had orthodontic treatment as a teenager. I was amazed at the changes that were happening in my mouth with braces! I grew up here in Southern California, in the San Fernando Valley, and attended the California State University, Northridge for my undergraduate education. The University of Southern California School of Dentistry was my next stop for the next seven years: four years to earn a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and three more years of orthodontic residency and a Master of Science in craniofacial biology.
After completing my orthodontic residency in May 2002, I moved to Ventura County and became an associate in an orthodontic office in Oxnard. I purchased that office later that year in December. I also began practicing in the Conejo Valley in Thousand Oaks starting in 2009. Since then, I have been serving the communities with the goal of providing friendly, caring, high-quality orthodontic treatment that utilizes the most up-to-date techniques and technologies. Invisalign, Damon System, 3D cone bean computed tomography (CBCT), and temporary anchorage devices (TAD) are amazing technological advances that I have implemented into patient treatment. Continuing education is vital to keep abreast of the latest research and advances. I enjoy learning and attend several meetings throughout the year. I am also a member of two local study clubs with dental colleagues to discuss treatment options for difficult cases, and to present journal articles to keep each other educated in all aspects of dentistry.
Being a positive, contributing member of our community and society is important to me. Children are our future. That is why I have chosen to support the Boys and Girls Club. This wonderful organization gives a safe, positive, nurturing, supportive place for kids and teens to play and learn.
My wife Heidi and I met during our undergraduate studies in 1993. She is the pillar of my life. We have two wonderful children, Parker and Sophie. When I am not in the office, my time is spent with my wife and kids, mountain biking, watching USC football (FIGHT ON!), and snow skiing.

Dr . Lee is simply the best. All his staff are courteous, respectful, attentive and compassionate. I am a dentist myself and know many orthodontists. Not all orthodontists are created equal. Having observed his impeccable treatments over the years I wouldn't want anyone else treating my daughter.

We love Dr. Lee and and all the staff there! We drive from Ventura just to come here and are very happy. Everyone there cares about each individual patient and it really shows in the service we receive. *update* Its been about 2 years now since my children have been getting treatment. There teeth look amazing! I am still 100% satisfied with the whole experience.

The office was on time and very efficient. Everything was great and very professional. We love going to this office the staff is friendly and makes the appointments fun. Dr. Lee is a great orthodontist he knows what is needed and keeps you informed.

Dr.lee is amazing, I have been orthodontic treatment for years and years with another Ortho. Needed retainers and decided I was not all that happy where I was although they were wonderful humans. Dr.lee identified the issue right away, and Wella, a few tweaks, new retainers, problem solved. I love my smile..the staff is great too. Side bar, he runs a tight ship: don't be late..

After completing my ortho treatment, Dr. Lee started my sons treatment, which is quite complex. Dr. Lee consulted with the oral surgeon as well as pediatric dentist to formulate a customized treatment plan, tackling several aspects of treatment in parallel to keep the duration of treatment on track. Dr Lee started treatment last week and today, SUNDAY, my son was uncomfortable and a bit swollen due to a metal device placed in his mouth. I texted Dr Lee at 7:30am today (again, SUNDAY), and by 9am, my son was in Dr Lee's office, being taken care of. Dr Lee is without a doubt, above and beyond, in terms of his expertise, patient care and extending himself to get the optimal treatment outcome. After completing my own treatment with him and now my son, I'd highly recommend him.

Many orthodontists told me they couldn't fix my slight misaligned jaw and tiny underbite without having surgery. I kept searching online for doctors around california even arizona. After searching i came across dr. Lee . I did some research and decided to get a consultation with him. He made me so happy when he said he could fix my problem with no surgery. Even though i had to drive kind of far i didnt care. And i dont regret it because he didnt finish my treatment until made sure we were both satisfied with the results. Guys i highly recommend him. Great dentist that is honest, nice and caring. And his staff is great!!

Very modern appliances. Showed me a picture of what my teeth will look like after 22 months of braces. Great payment methods. Friendly staff and knowledgeable Ortho Dr who also has a degree in dental surgery.
