Charles Spicer was born in Macon, Georgia and grew up in Hephzibah, Georgia. He did his undergraduate course work at the University of Georgia with a major in Biology. After that, he pursued dentistry at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. He likes to stay on top of the latest dental research to give his patients the best care and experience. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has three children, ages 6, 3, and 1. In his spare time he likes Kayaking and doing activities with his kids.
Dr. Quynh Spicer grew up in Augusta, GA. She graduated from John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and then started her undergraduate at the University of Georgia where she majored in Biology. She was a stay at home mom for her oldest for two years when she found her calling in dentistry and was accepted to The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University. During her time in dental school, she gave birth to her second girl and her youngest child. She is a current member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Facial Esthetics. Quynh is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Charles Spicer. In her spare time, she loves to explore her artistic skills with illustrations and photography. She is very excited to be a part of Thomson and to help serve the Thomson community and provide the people with the best dental care possible.
Dr. Hughes was reared in Thomson, GA. He graduated from Emory Dental School in 1968 and served in the US Air force for two years. In 1970, he moved back to Thomson, GA and established his practice at its current location. Dr. Hughes has consistently pursued continuing education in dentistry, earning him the accolades of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD). Dr. Hughes is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Eastern District Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Hughes has visited several countries such as Trinidad and Tobago and Honduras to give dental care to impoverished people. First Baptist Church of Thomson, GA has been Dr. Hughes church home for 56 years. Dr. Hughes is also a member of the Kiwanis club. Dr. Hughes is married to Linda and they have three children Matt, Josh, and Katie.
Tasha grew up in Thomson, GA. She has worked locally for 22 years as a dental hygienist. She attended Georgia Southern University for 2 years prior to being accepted to the MCG dental hygiene program where she graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in 1995. Patient advocacy has been a passion of hers as well as working through treatment concerns and establishing strong patient relationships. As a hygienist, it is her priority to give excellent patient care in a calm and caring manner. She has been married for 17 years to her wonderful husband Mike and they have one daughter named Sara Delle. In her free time, she enjoys being with friend and family, watching Georgia football, shopping, and caring for their many animals on their hobby farm.

Wonderful staff and lots of experience and very knowledgeable of didn't type of dental work from regular cleaning, deep cleaning, periodontal treatment, crowns, bridges and implants highly recommend this Dental office to all my friends and other as well . Thank you

My dentist retired, so I followed my hygienist of 25 years. Other staff is average. Today was a blow to my wallet... Prophylaxis and exam went up $50 since last visit in 2/2022. Little steep

My mother was called back within 10 minutes of arriving. The appointment did not last for more than 35 minutes. Staff was friendly and treated my mother nice.

My 97 year old mother went here for new dentures after a horrible experience at aspen dental and Dr Spicer and staff were very professional, courteous and friendly. Got visit preapproved with insurance and made appointments that suited her needs and timeframes. Each visit we were in a care room and out of waiting room in less than 10 mins. Dr and staff very efficient and helpful. Each visit lasted 30 mins or less. 5 visits for complete denture replacement scheduled 20 days apart. Forget the quick replacement denture places and use a private practice if you want great service, no waiting time and professionalism every time!!!

Will never return!Had all my insurance information up front. Even though my insurance covers most of all dental work 100%, crowns & specialty only 80%. Since July of 2020 I have been back & forth wanting the cash back that the office insisted we pay up front. It is January 2021 and the Dentist Spicer said it was my problem to take up with my insurance! Not his office.Not to mention the fillings they done all have to be replaced! Update: sent us to collection agency, proved you all have been paid. They stopped, now you want to send bills again. Just

The staff was very friendly, the dentist was great. You might have to wait, as I waited 30 minutes. This was my first visit, so hopefully that wait time isn't the norm.

I had a tooth bothering me. They were able to see me and work me in for an extraction. Everybody was very nice and made me feel at ease. Daniel got my pre meds called in and filled before my appointment at 9:45. Lokey was able to get the X-ray (tips and all) lol. This was as pleasant as going to the dentist can be. Thanks for the professional service.
