I never thought in my lifetime I would find a dentist that I would look forward to visiting, but I have with Thompson Family Dentistry. I have received excellent care and service. And I have also learned much more about the proper care of my teeth from the dental hygienist than I have learned from all the dentists I have seen over my 5 decades of life.

They don't do any serious dental work they want to send you to a specialist for everything. Then the specialist sends you back to them to do simple stuff for more money

SOoo... when you have Trigeminal Neurolgia going to the dentist heavily medicated (stoned out of your skull) is not only acceptable, but necessary! Cheers to Dr Thompson for helping make me comfortable with my new reality, and making a surreal experience feel like business as usual. I enjoy the dentist chair so much more now! Lol! BIG hugs to his wife for not making me sit in the waiting room smelling like a pot plant! I am being given back some of the dignity my disease has stolen from me, and they have been incredibly helpful, and supportive without me having to spell it out for them, or feel like I am being judged based on a condition I can not control. I can honestly say after 2 yrs Dr Thompson and his crew are the real deal, and what we are all looking for in a healthcare office, but so rarely find in today's world- a 2nd gen family practice offering their support to their small town community- without the small town limitations. Parking sucks - as if that's a thing- I don't really care that the parking lot is postage stamp size - I'll take it over a pay meter/parking garage any day! Normally we park across the street. The Thompson's are a hidden treasure I am grateful I found! Looking forward to being able to smile at people again without being mortified, and embarrassed by it!

I have a dentist phobia due to years of not so pleasant experiences at numerous dental offices. I've had a dentist require 5 visits for one crown, which ended with the worst fitting crown I've ever received. I've had a dentist get nasty with me and literally fetch a sigh, roll his eyes and reprimand me for slightly, yes, slightly, jumping when I felt his drill on a tooth he was working on- as if the reflex was voluntary. I've gone home with a jaw so sore, I've suffered a migraine for 2 days following my appointment because though a dentist will ALWAYS ask you to fill out paperwork beforehand about medical issues you have and/or if you have jaw issues, they seemingly can't be bothered to apply what you've provided them to your dental care treatment plan as you progress through the process of the required work to resolve any issues found. I have FINALLY found a place that practices what they advertise, "Gentle Dental Care". From the very start, Dr. Thompson and his staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and to be sure they addressed everything I'd written down, letting me know they took the time to go everything in detail and I wasn't filling out forms that went into some odd dental file void, never to be seen again. From novacaine administration, to fillings, where I literally felt zero pain, to the constant care and concern taken for my comfort physically, mentally and emotionally- because really, a phobia wreaks havoc on all three of those things- I couldn't have been better taken care of. I left and sat in my car for a minute, opening and closing my mouth and realized for the first time in over 25 years, my jaw wasn't aching after a dental visit. 3 fillings. No pain. No jaw-ache. That night, no migraine. Am I still phobic? Yes, but I know I've finally found a place that will take care of me and hopefully, that's something that I won't have to continue to deal with for the rest of my life. I highly recommend them. Thank you, Dr. Thompson and staff. You're wonderful.

I absolutely hated going to the dentist due to bad experiences but I knew it was time to get back. Been going here for about 2 years now and love it everyone is so friendly and make you very comfortable!

I have taken my entire family here for many years. When we first started coming here, I was nervous about how my kids would do. There are a lot of newer places that have games/movies but do not allow parents back with the child. That is not the case here. You can be with your child. Doors open, and they are very good with all ages! They are great at scheduling for families! I love the way they rate my kids on their brushing so we know who may need more supervision with brushing. The front office staff is so patient and helpful. They are always nice with all calls and don't mind telling when your appointment is again, they are flexible with scheduling. We have never had a bad experience. They are very efficient, and will take good care of your families teeth.

Wonderful people and excellent work. I'm really a nervous person when it comes to having to go to the dentist (or get work done), but the team here is wonderful at putting me at ease and making the experience as pleasant as possible.
