Dr. Thompson graduated from Texas A&M University in 2004 with his Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Management. After receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Dr. Thompson spent a year as a captain in the United States Air Force while completing his Advanced Education General Dentistry Residency. He then spent two more years developing his skills as a dentist in the Air Force. After gaining valuable experience as a dentist in the military, Dr. Thompson furthered his experience as an associate dentist in Sherman, Texas prior to opening Thompson Dental in McKinney, Texas.

Dr. Thompson is an active and accomplished member of his community. While in dentalschool and undergraduate school, he held officer positions in dental societies as well as captained team sports. He was also awarded multiple military commendations during his time in the Air Force. Dr. Thompson has met his goal many times over to help as many people as possible by attending several dental mission trips over the years and doing volunteer work within his community.

Dr. Thompson is currently an active member of theADA, theTexas Dental Associationand theNorth Texas Dental Society. In his free time, Dr. Thompson loves spending timewith his family and friends and is very involved with his church, Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. He likes to watch and play all kinds of sports and also enjoys time outdoors cycling, golfing, running and hiking. He looks forward to caring for the wonderful people of McKinney, Frisco, Allen, Plano and Prosper.

Jordan is our Office Manager. She first joined our team in July of 2016. She graduated from The University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 2013 with a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. Jordan loves the friendly atmosphere Thompson Dental provides and loves that her team creates a fun working environment. When shes not in the office, she loves to be active, go camping, and spend time with family. Jordan loves what she does, and you will notice that through her contagious laugh, which can be heard throughout the office.

Selina is our New Patient/Hygiene Coordinator. She started with us in June of 2020 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She was born and raised in Texas and is bilingual in English and Spanish. What she loves about her job is that her co-workers genuinely care for each other personally and work great together as a team. Selina is happily married to her high school sweetheart. In 2014 their family grew as they welcomed their son, Adrian. Outside of work Selina enjoys trying new foods and catching up on any new releases!

Abby is our Lead Dental Assistant/ Sleep Coordinator. She started her journey here in December of 2019. She has been a Registered Dental Assistant since 2017 and has accelerated her education toward Dental Sleep Medicine since working at Thompson Dental! She loves to establish relationships with her patients to give them the best care possible! Abby is engaged to be married in May of 2022 to her high school sweetheart Cody. They love to spend time with friends, family, and their two French Bulldogs Lada and Lila! Dont be surprised if you see her roaming the office making her co-workers laugh and keeping the atmosphere energetic!

Courteney is one of our Registered Dental Assistants. She started at Thompson Dental in August of 2021. Originally from Florida, she earned a bachelor's degree in Health Education and Behavior at the University of Florida. When making the big move to Texas, she found dentistry as a way to fulfill her interests in bettering others' health. Her favorite thing about her job is that every day is different, and she has the opportunity to build relationships with our amazing patients. Outside of work, Courteney enjoys spending time with her family and getting to try the vast array of restaurants that Texas offers.

Lisa has been with Thompson Dental since we first opened our doors in 2013. Lisa received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas Women 's University while simultaneously working as a dental assistant. She likes helping her patients with their dental and overall health while still having fun in the process. Lisa is passionate about what she does but it helps that she loves the team she works with too. Lisa enjoys camping, hiking, fishing, and traveling around our beautiful country with her husband and 3 children. Due to Lisa 's vast experience, she is affectionately known around the office as 'Mama Lisa.'

Christa has been a dental hygienist with Thompson Dental since 2015 after escaping the frigid temps of Minnesota where she received her degree in dental hygiene in 2012. Christa truly loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and feels fortunate to work with the most incredible team ever! Christa has been married to her high school sweetheart, Matt, since 1998. They welcomed their son, Ethan, in 2002 and their daughter, Camryn, in 2005. Christa is very involved in the community and also teaches fitness classes on the side. Christa is always smiling and keeps things fun and lighthearted around the office.

Gwen is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists and she joined Thompson Dental in July 2020. She received her Dental Hygiene degree in 1997 and moved from Oklahoma to Texas in 2002. Gwen takes pride in helping her patients realize the importance of good dental health without lecturing them and she loves that our whole team goes above & beyond to care for our patients like family. She and her husband, Jason, were high school sweethearts and they have 2 wonderful sons, Jackson and Troy. In her spare time, Gwen volunteers with her local high school booster club and enjoys watching all sports but especially when one of her sons is on the field! Gwen is always in a good mood and is very personable and friendly with everyone.
