At Thompson Creek Dental, we offer a comprehensive range of general and specialized dental services for adults and children from the age of three near the Eastern Shore and Stevensville area. Were a convenient family dental center where we are one-stop shop for all aspects of dental care to eliminate the need for referrals and extensive travel to multiple specialists.
Our highly skilled dentists in Stevensville perform best nearby general dentistry, cosmetic procedures, orthodontic treatment, periodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. We also accept walk-in patients and provide emergency dental services in Kent Island, Queen Ann, Stevensville MD as quickly as possible.
Dr. Jafari has been providing exceptional dental care since 1999. She has lived in the Annapolis area since 1996. Dr. Jafari graduated from University of Maryland in 1992 and earned her dental degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After finishing her dental training, she completed a General Practice Residency at Howard College of Dentistry. She is a member of American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, the APD and the Eastern Shore Dental Society.
Dr. Jafari has practiced general/family dentistry, including restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry and pediatric dentistry. She has a special interest in treating children, adolescents and youth, and has five years of experience in pediatric dentistry. To stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry, she completes many hours of continuing education each year.
Dr. Jafari has the special gift of connecting and listening to her patients. Dr. Jafaris attention to detail is vividly displayed in her offices warm and comfortable setting. She encourages open communication so that each patients questions and concerns are addressed thoroughly.
In giving back to the community, Dr. Jafari provides help and food to Light House, a homeless shelter in Annapolis. She loves spending time and entertaining friends and family in her home with her husband and two sons. Her hobbies include outdoor activities, water sports and traveling.

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Please inform us of any changes to your insurance coverage
Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for services. If claims are not paid within 60 days, you are responsible for the balance. If you have any questions, our courteous staff is always available to answer them.

I haven't seen a dentist in a while. Thompson creek dental was a complete waste of my valuable time to come over the bridge. Just terrible.

The entire staff treated me with kindness and compassion during my leukemia treatment. I had some dental issues that needed attention during that time so that I could avoid infections and complications with my chemotherapy. The staff was not only accommodating and professional, but also extraordinarily encouraging and helpful in assisting me during a very difficult time.

Dr. Jafari ensures I feel comfortable with the treatment plan and her assistant is attentive and knowledgeable. She always greets me with a smile and checks in to make sure I am doing OK with each appt. Lauren at the front desk is sweet and very patient. She always remembers me when I come in and eases my anxiety. Dental work is stressful enough but with this team- they make it easy.

Great staff and prices. I can't stand the thought of visiting the dentist, but my experiences here have by far been the best of any dentist I've ever visited. Dr Jafari was very gentle and accommodating of my frazzled nerves when performing any work and caring for my dental needs. Thompson Creek Dental prices are by far cheaper than most I've encountered in the area considering all the work I need. Highly recommend this office!

Horrible place. Communicate its awful and Office Manger Myela has no idea of what she is doing. I think the Ortho Dr is great however the staff are not that pleasant. My son xrays were sent off to insurance for approval and approved the day of his appt when we arrived I was told his autho wasn't approved someone sent the wrong pictures with his profile? How is this so. Called insurance company it was clear that is was a female teeth and not male. They are beyond disorganized!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since I cannot reply to your post here is my response. An apology isn't nothing to a patient anymore we have had to travel to your location over three times just to be turned around cause there was an error on your part taking my son pictures. You did not explain anything to me over the phone besides there was a mix up with charts! Further more you did not correct the issue in time if my mother and son had to travel an hour and find out when they get their that and error occurred. He missed school for nothing! So like I said this establishment is very UNPROFESSONIAL and AWFUL and it starts with the manager because she barely knows what she is doing herself! The lack of communication that is given is what upsets me the most! But don't worry I have found a new ortho office for him, I wish things could have work because the Dr. does seem like he knows what he doing and very pleasant!

Thankful to have found an office where I feel comfortable to have the work done on my teeth that I have been putting off for years. I usually have terrible anxiety at the dentist, but Dr. Jafari has been so patient and kind that I have been able to actually relax during my cleanings. The front desk has also been a pleasure to work with and very accommodating. I finally have found my dental home!! :)

The staff was unprofessional and did not ask my name, but immediately asked if I had insurance. That non professionalism showed thru with the dentist also. The tooth did not match even closely. I even offered too go too the place where they made the teeth. She declined. I was so unsatisfied with this dentist and office staff. Please don't waste your time going there... Steven Eskew

I stopped going here a year ago. It was my worst dental experience coming here. I have been to many dentists and orthodontists trying and trying to find a place I like to get braces. I am finally getting them in the next month. I personally ask that anyone who wants to know more about why I say this or recommendations for good places, find me on facebook (same name as above) and inbox me or email me melody.sharp724@gmail.com. Normally I don't bother with reviews but I would feel guilty not doing my part in the community by allowing people to go here.

My suggestion is don't even waste your time they don't know how to return a phone call In a decent amount of time and when they do call back they say they will call you again but they never do lol what a joke. Must be doing such a booming business they don't need your clientele.
