Dr. Walther loves giving back to our amazing St. Louis community. This past weekend, he was fortunate to participate in Give Kids a Smile, an organization that provides free dental care and treatment to children whose families cannot afford dental services. He is so passionate about instilling in our children at an early age the great importanceof oral health, starting from a very young age.
Unfortunately, tooth decay is the most common disease found in children in America. In addition, the enamel of baby teeth are significantly more succeptible to cavities. It is important that your child makes his or her first visit to the dentist between ages 1 and 2in order to evaluate their teeth, check for cavities, provider fluoride treatment if necessary, and generally make sure everything is developing as it should be. The dentist can also give parents and caregivers valuable home care tips in dealing with your childrens dental care.

First visit and appreciate the personal attention both buy Emily and Dr. Walther. This was step one of a crown procedure. If step 2 and 3 go as well as this visit I would be very pleased.

Dr Walther is one of the best dentists that i have had the experience of being a patient. I would highly recommend him to friends and family as well as the general public. The level of service and care is astonishing! There is a reason why i've been a returning customer for almost five years.

Low key, superb work. I love it that he does the cleanings himself rather than have office staff do it. He has the gentlest touch, but does a thorough job. Consistently pleasant.

I went there for a routine cleaning and was totally disappointed. In order to save money, Dr. Walther doesn't employ a hygienist. He tries to do the hygienist's job himself but does it poorly because it's not his job. He spent a total of no more than five minutes pretending to scrape a couple of teeth before declaring he was done and that everything was perfect. It wasn't. This was a total waste of time and money, a rip-off. I was very disappointed. His receptionist was very argumentative, which I did not appreciate. The whole experience left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I have since found a real dental practice with a full staff and top-notch service. I will never return to Dr. Walther's office.

I had an extremely painful area in my upper jaw and tried to get an appointment with my regular dentist only to find out that he was on vacation and the DDS that his phone message referred me to was not in our insurance plan. Dr. Walther was able to get me in in a matter of a couple of days; was polite and timely; and very thorough. I won't be returning to my regular dentist now that I've found Dr. Walther and his staff.

Dr. Walther is very kind, quick, and thorough. Just like most people, I don't like going to the dentist very much, but Dr. Walther and Emily do a great job of getting you in quick and making you feel comfortable. After doing x-rays, Dr. Walther will even look at the photos with you and explain to you what you are seeing and what is going on. Dr. Walther has great bedside manner and I recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly dentist who does a good and honest job!
