Great. He is an exceptional person and orthodontist. Love his personality and his staff are great. I would highly recommend Dr. Davant!

I am writing this review in regards to Thomas Davant's inability to deliver on the terms that were set forth when I agreed to receive braces from him. When I agreed to become a patient of his at his Summit office he promised that getting braces from him would include free retainers for life. Being that I had Maryland bridges put in after my braces were complete it was necessary that I would need to wear a retainer the rest of my life. He made good on the promise the first few times I came back. However, the visit before my most recent he charged me $50.00 and I found that strange due to his "promise." However, I was extremely busy that day as I was only in town for the holidays and did not feel like tracking him down so I paid it. My most recent visit was about a month or so ago and before I went back to get a retainer I popped in his office and said "I know I haven't been here in a while but I was hoping you would take care of this as this was agreed upon when I originally received my braces." His response was " Once a customer, always a customer." I took that to mean he remembered what HE said and would take care of the charges. When I go to check out the lady at the desk asks me how I would like to pay the $125.00 bill for the retainer. I informed her I just spoke with Dr. Davant and he intimated he would take care of the charges. The desk ckerk went to the back to speak with Dr. Davant and she told me that I was responsible for the charges. I asked her if I could speak with Dr. Davant myself as I had just spoke with him and she informed me he had left for lunch out the back. What a way to treat customers! In conclusion, I would not recommend anyone to receive orthodontics or any other services from Dr. Davant as he does not stand by his word nor does he respect his clients. I will never recommend him to a friend, family member, co-worker, or anyone else for that matter. His word is useless. Make sure you get whatever he says in writing. Keith Saxon
