Thomas R. Dix, DMD Dr. Dix was born in Arizona, and has lived in both Florida and Georgia. He joined the Marine Corps, and then he originally went to college for a masters degree in biochemistry at UGA. He was in the masters program at UGA when he was accepted at Medical College of Georgias Dental School. He has been in the dental profession since 1975. He is married to Maria and they have built their new home in Austell. They enjoy riding his Harley and going to exotic places to scuba dive.Theyare both active participants in the annual 2-day walk for breast cancer.
Dr. McGee was born and raised in Mississippi. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1994 with a B.S. in Biology, he went to dental school at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS. In 1997, he graduated from dental school with a D.M.D. degree and moved to Atlanta where he met his wife Amber. He immediately began practicing dentistry in a large group practice. In 1998, Dr. McGee opened his own practice in Stone Mountain, Ga where he has been practicing ever since
Tiffany Benton, RDH Tiffany was born and raised in Austell, Georgia. She has worked for Dr. Dix since November 2006 on a part-time basis. She graduated in 1999 with her Associate of Applied Technology degree in Dental Hygiene from West Central Technical College. She is married with two beautiful children and enjoys going to church, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
Heidy Fuentes Heidy was born in El Salvador, and raised in California. She is Dr. Dixs assistant and has worked with him since October 2000. She has 3 children with a grandson. She enjoys spending time at church and with family and friends. She loves to go for walks and enjoys cooking.
Vanessa Acosta Vanessa was born in Pasadena, California and has lived most of her life in Georgia. She helps out with the front desk and also assists Dr. Dix. She has worked for Dr. Dix since August 2007. She is married and has 2 children. She loves to go hiking, shopping, and spends a lot of time with her family.
Angela Comparato Angela was born in Santiago, Chile, and lived in New York before moving to Georgia. She is our sterilization and purchasing coordinator and has been with Dr. Dix since September 2006. She is married with one daughter and a new granddaughter. She loves sewing, traveling, and gardening.
Imelda Silverio Imelda has been with our office for over a year now and is responsible for sterilization and Spanish translations in the afternoon and fills in whenever possible. She has one daughter and likes to make jewelry and spend time with her family.
