Thomas R. Dix, DMD Dr. Dix was born in Arizona, and has lived in both Florida and Georgia. He joined the Marine Corps, and then he originally went to college for a masters degree in biochemistry at UGA. He was in the masters program at UGA when he was accepted at Medical College of Georgias Dental School. He has been in the dental profession since 1975. He is married to Maria and they have built their new home in Austell. They enjoy riding his Harley and going to exotic places to scuba dive.Theyare both active participants in the annual 2-day walk for breast cancer.
Dr. McGee was born and raised in Mississippi. After graduating from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1994 with a B.S. in Biology, he went to dental school at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS. In 1997, he graduated from dental school with a D.M.D. degree and moved to Atlanta where he met his wife Amber. He immediately began practicing dentistry in a large group practice. In 1998, Dr. McGee opened his own practice in Stone Mountain, Ga where he has been practicing ever since
Tiffany Benton, RDH Tiffany was born and raised in Austell, Georgia. She has worked for Dr. Dix since November 2006 on a part-time basis. She graduated in 1999 with her Associate of Applied Technology degree in Dental Hygiene from West Central Technical College. She is married with two beautiful children and enjoys going to church, horseback riding, and spending time with her family.
Heidy Fuentes Heidy was born in El Salvador, and raised in California. She is Dr. Dixs assistant and has worked with him since October 2000. She has 3 children with a grandson. She enjoys spending time at church and with family and friends. She loves to go for walks and enjoys cooking.
Vanessa Acosta Vanessa was born in Pasadena, California and has lived most of her life in Georgia. She helps out with the front desk and also assists Dr. Dix. She has worked for Dr. Dix since August 2007. She is married and has 2 children. She loves to go hiking, shopping, and spends a lot of time with her family.
Angela Comparato Angela was born in Santiago, Chile, and lived in New York before moving to Georgia. She is our sterilization and purchasing coordinator and has been with Dr. Dix since September 2006. She is married with one daughter and a new granddaughter. She loves sewing, traveling, and gardening.
Imelda Silverio Imelda has been with our office for over a year now and is responsible for sterilization and Spanish translations in the afternoon and fills in whenever possible. She has one daughter and likes to make jewelry and spend time with her family.

The entire staff is wonderful. Dr. Dix is the best dentist and really takes care of his patients and gives them the best treatment. He has a wonderful staff. For once in my life, I enjoy going to the dentist

Love this dentist and everyone I encountered. Absolutely love how it is a small office and small practice. Everyone was friendly and professional. Questions where encouraged and answered. I'm new to the area and I have definitely found my new dentist.

This was my first or initial consultation with Dr. Dix. I was one of their first patients today and they treated me like I have been there all my life! Very friendly staff very minimal paperwork! They gave me a good bill of health and I really appreciate all the concern and personal care. They will definitely be my go to dentist from here on out. Thanks again Dr. Dix and staff!

Dr. Dix has been my family's dentist since 2001 when contracted under Delta Dental coverage. Now I have Cigna. This is the absolute best experience my family has ever had with a dental provider for both service and billing. His assessments are spot on with the best $$ hands down. I moved with the office to the present location. I trust his staff completely!!! God bless him and their staff

What can I say! I've been going to Dr. Dix for 17 long years. He's a great dentist and I'd highly recommend him to everyone. During this period, my experiences have always been stellar (I miss Michelle) until recently. The unfamiliar dental hygienist who assisted me recently was rude, disrespectful and made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. After 17 years, I finally cried in the dentist seat, but not because of the cleaning. I am a business professional, with an amazing career and an income over double of most of the beautiful people in this neighborhood. I mention this to say that she made me feel like a dog in the street who you can talk to and treat in any manner desired. Regardless of my or anyone's status, you should treat people as you would like to be treated. I felt the need to mention this situation not because I'm dissatisfied with the wonderful Dr. Dix or his staff, I mention it because when I returned a few weeks later for a deep cleaning (omg...floss people), I was advised that the aforementioned hurtful Day, was the last and only day that the awful hygienist worked at that office. I'm certainly not sure why however, I'm definitely glad that I'll never have to see her again. This amazingly impeccable staff/office, deserves so much better. They take pride in who they hire and I'm certainly proud to be a patient here. I don't recall the name of the associate who performed my deep cleaning but, she was kind, patient, respectful and I absolutely give her five stars! Thank you for reminding me why I've been loyal to you guys for 17 years! Luv ya Dr. Dix. Xoxo
