Born in Pasadena, and raised nearby in San Dimas, Dr. Thomas Pacheco feels very fortunate he found Dr. James Angelos and his practice in Pasadena. From the very beginning it has felt like the right fit and he is looking forward to meeting each of the wonderful patients who have been part of the practice for many years.
Dr. Pacheco attended UC Berkeley for his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and then went on to study at University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with the highest honors.
Following his time at University of the Pacific, Dr. Pacheco practiced in Oakland, CA where he continued to provide gentle, thorough and compassionate care to all of his patients. For the last 6 years he has spent much of his time seeking out and learning from the best dentists across the country in their respective fields and taking hundreds of hours of post graduate and continuing education. Patients seek out Dr. Pacheco for his knowledge and experience with digital dentistry as well as focusing on his patients whole body health as well as their oral health. He takes pride in creating a comfortable private practice environment focused on providing the absolute highest level of care to each and every one of his patients. His patients are always encouraged to be active participants in their own health, bring questions and feel that their dentist can be their trusted source of dental knowledge and education.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Pacheco and his wife, Elisa, have a 1 year old little boy, Oliver. This is their first child and they have been enjoying every moment with him over the last year. They both feel grateful to be back home with their families and are looking forward to growing their own family alongside their brothers, sisters and cousins in the area.
Dr. James N. Angelos has provided complete Cosmetic and General Dentistry in Pasadena for over 50 years. A graduate of Case Western Reserve Dental School in Cleveland, Ohio, he served in the U.S. Public Health Service and the U.S. Coast Guard as a dental officer in Alameda, California providing all phases of General Dentistry. Dr. Angelos has continued his dental training over the years by attending and participating in seminars and post graduate courses in all aspects of dental treatment.
Dr. Angelos is an active member of the San Marino City Club and of St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church in Pasadena, serving on various committees and as President of the Community for two years. Dr. Angelos has also enjoyed serving his community as a coach for Little League Baseball, AYSO soccer and youth basketball. Dr. Angelos is a member of the San Marino Tennis Club and the Flint Canyon Tennis Club and has enjoyed playing tennis for many years. He has recently taken up playing golf.
Dr. Angelos and his wife, Sophia, have three children, Nicolette, Jennie, and Nick all of whom attendedschool in San Marino and graduated from University of California, Irvine and University of Southern California.Dr. Angelosgets greatpleasure from spending time with his family and considers himself lucky to have his five grandsons and three granddaughters (identical triplets) living in nearby cities.

My experience couldn't have been better The staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable and Dr Pacheco is a worthy replacement for the retired Dr Angelos. They have extremely up to date technology which makes for a comfortable visit. I highly recommend.

I know going to the Dentist is not suppose to be pleasant but my experience with Dr. Pacheco and his team of ladies was very pleasant. I worried who would replace Dr Angelous and I worried for nothing Dr. Pacheco is amazing. Dr. Angelous left us in good hands with his replacement. The office is equipped with the new top of the line equipment. I am excited about my future visits with Dr. Pacheco. Thank you so much ! Was a very good day .

I've been going to this facility for many years before Dr. Pacheco came onboard, and I've been so impressed with his recent changes. He's continued to emphasize friendly and personalized patient care, but is also modernizing the facility and investing in the latest technology. The staff seem to love him as well, making each visit a pleasant experience. I asked about the new name and was told that Dr. Pacheco wanted to honor the history of this practice - opting to leave the blue door unchanged at the entrance. Love it!

I always have a great experience when I get my teeth cleaned by the hygienists and examined by Dr. Pacheco. They're gentle and thorough! I also like that the entire staff is very personable and down to earth.
