Well - what can I say ..not a trustworthy dentist..and I'm sorry to be honest , I do not believe in bad feedback but this one cannot go unnoticed ..the experience from a family member on implant treatment was never completed and lasted almost two years followed by misleading information given to patient - after speaking to a real expert Prothodontist at a top clinic in Boston it was discovered many problems created by this office on the implants .. this practice is a complete disaster and do not recommend to any of my friends .

I recently moved and was looking for a new dentist. I had a first visit to a local Beverly practice where the dentist told me that I needed two crowns and had decay under a filling. I was surprised as my previous dentist didn't voice this concern and I've always had regular check ups. I went to Dr. Rafferty for a second opinion. He took his time, examined my mouth and xrays, then answered my questions and addressed my concerns. His opinion was that I didn't need to get either crown. He pointed out that a different tooth, that wasn't mentioned, might need watching, but didn't need anything immediately. I trust his opinion as he is a specialist. His manner was professional and I immediately felt at ease. His assistant Maddison and receptionist Ashley were also very pleasant. I'll be switching to this practice.

This was my first experience with dental implants and I was frankly a little nervous. But Dr. Rafferty explained everything and the whole process was painless. He's now my go-to for serious dental work, which I will inevitably need in the future.

Dr. Rafferty helped me with enlarged gums: found the source of it (medication side effect), made a surgery. It was fixed. I recommend doctor to my friends and relatives.

I have extremely sensitive teeth. A cleaning for me was beyond painful. A root canal is actually easier for me to manage to give a benchmark on my sensitivity. For several years, hygienists were only able to do 30% coverage, at best, of a cleaning. Then I was introduced to Dr Lopez. He assessed and mapped out what I needed for novacaine and pin pointed the exact spots. Because of him, I am able to tolerate cleanings (even deep scale) every 6 months. Very grateful.
