I love dentistry and am grateful for the opportunity to use that passion to improve peoples lives. Whether alleviating dental pain, restoring or changing a smile, or improving function for a stable bite, I know my work can give my patient peace of mind and happiness.
One of the most intriguing aspects of dentistry is the uniqueness of my day. Each person comes to the office with individual needs, concerns, and desires. It is my responsibility to understand what a patient requires, find the ideal solution to his or her specific situation, then deliver the care in a manner that exceeds expectations.
I want patients to know I personally care about them, and always put their comfort and well-being at the forefront of what I do. I promise to listen without judgment, respect their desires and constraints, and deliver ethical guidance, support, and treatment.
One of the most rewarding aspects of dentistry is having the ability to ease a persons anxiety. Fearful patients who have had negative experiences in the past can be reluctant to seek care. I understand this reticence and invest the time needed to build trust with those who are apprehensive. I will approach treatment at your speed, addressing the most serious issues first, and ensure your comfort throughout the process. Helping someone feel calm and relaxed at the thought of a dental visit, and seeing them regain their oral health, is deeply satisfying.
My remarkable staff shares my passion for oral healthcare and dedication to treating every patient with the greatest respect and compassion. They want each person who walks through our doors to feel at ease in our office, to know we have their best interest at heart, and to finish their visit feeling happier and healthier than when they arrived. Their smiles, and every thank you, make our day!
Dentistry, like all areas of healthcare, is dynamic and constantly advancing. In the almost 40 years I have practiced, the field has undergone remarkable changes: new technologies, methodologies, and materials have changed everything from diagnostics to treatment planning to procedures and outcomes. Dental care is more comfortable and efficient, and delivers longer-lasting improvements to our patients.
Since completing dental school I have pursued a range of CE. In addition to attending seminars and meetings, and taking online courses, I avidly read professional journals to stay current on the latest research findings and discussions.
I grew up in Dolton, and have lived with my family here in Mokena for almost 30 years. My wife Kim and I have been proud to raise our four children Marie, Andrew, Michelle, and Patrick in this community.
When Im not working, or enjoying time with family, Im usually found golfing. If not golfing, Im likely enjoying the outdoors: walking, bike riding, hiking, skiing, and boating are some of my favorite pastimes.
My team excels at treating patients like they are family. Each team member is excellent at answering questions, explaining procedures, and assuaging fears. They are skilled, compassionate, gentle, and give their all to ensure everyone knows how much we care!

It has been an honor to serve the Mokena community for more than 25 years: developing lasting relationships based on comfortable, honest, personalized dental care. Each of us believes in putting you your physical and emotional health at the forefront of all we do.
As a family-friendly practice, we welcome everyone from toddlers through great-grandparents. Nothing makes us happier than caring for the smiles of multiple generations of families, and sharing in their lives and experiences over the years.
It starts with a conversation. Your first visit is a time for us to talk and get to know each other, and to start establishing the essential open communication. Well ask about your life and hobbies, learn about your dental goals, and discuss any concerns you might have.
Using what hes learned from that conversation, and following your exam, Dr. Maloney will design a personalized treatment plan. He emphasizes conservative care for painless treatment and remarkable, lasting results.
By walking you through the proposal, we will discuss what is recommended and why, review financials and timelines, and answer any questions you might have. Theres never a sales pitch or pressure to agree to a procedure youre uncomfortable with, we promise. Instead, we put you in control, to ensure youre making informed decisions about your smiles health!
We are attentive, non-judgmental listeners, very accommodating, and honestly wish to help you overcome your fears to reclaim your oral health. We are always gentle and will proceed with treatment in a manner and speed youre comfortable with. If you need time, thats okay. We are here and would be honored to show you how much we care!
