I've had great experiences with both Dr.Poksay and Br.Bohan. Cheryl (RDH) is a miracle worker. There was a lapse in my dental care for a few years and Cheryl patiently and gently brought me back to health. The office goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and safety, I actually look forward to my check-ups.

Do not use Dr. Thomas Poksay. They lied to me at the begining and said they take Atana insurnce. Turth is they are not on the network and hence they can charge any thing they want and it will became your responsibility to pay. They staff will lie and pushed services on you that you didnot need, they asked me to come for more visits so they can charge insurance more for the same services. Find an honest ethical dentist, this one will rip you off. I had over 25 yrs with dentist in Alameda but because I live in Novato during pandmaic I looked for a local dentist. I fully regarts and I hope the money they ribed me off not benefit them.

I have been going to Thomas Poksay, DMD and team for approximately 24 years. They've kind of watched me grow up. I left for a brief stint only because my favorite boyfriend's dad, another dentist, at 450 Sutter in SF (also wonderful, but SF!) insisted I see him instead because free dental care is awesome... I've been back at Dr. Poksay's for yearsss and I just love the feeling I get when I leave the beautiful, state-of-the-art office. I adore oral hygiene and smiling and I always leave with a big grin. My teeth feel cleaner and whiter and even crowns and root canals (and today's cracked tooth and impressions for a new night guard for example) are a breeze. The staff is a breath of fresh air and everyone truly takes pride in their work. They are always punctual! They inspire me to slow down (because when you're in a dental chair for hours, one has no choice!). I find my visits relaxing from the hustle and bustle of work and stress. It's like a mini vacation or meditation to be able to breathe deeply while the teeth pros do their work as painlessly as possible. I urge you to try this place and I'll be shocked if you're not thrilled you did! You truly get what you pay for here.

'Price gougers' and very bad customer service: stay away and be careful! I came to this practice for a second opinion for a treatment recommended by my dentist in San Rafael. It turned out that Dr. Poksay charged my insurance at least $100 more than my dentist for the same treatment (X-rays, Oral exam and cleaning). Dr Poksay practice is supposed to refund my money and I have not received it after I followed up with his staff twice more than a month later. I wanted to get explanation about the confusing bill, Dr Poksay staff did not seem to bother to explain and handle my concern. Also ... they just let me wait for more than half hour after the appointment time. I'm not happy and will not come back.

I became a patient of Dr. Poksay after My previous dentist of 25 years retired. I left Dr. Poksay six months ago after he insisted on treating a painful condition i had using no anesthesia. It was such a traumatizing experience that when my husband picked me up I burst out crying and could not stop for 2 hours. I felt abused and humiliated by this man. STAY AWAY.

Love, love Dr.Poksay! Have been going to his office for 10+ years and he IS the best! His staff is friendly and amazing! Dr. Poksay is brilliant at his craft he is so knowledgeable and really makes you feel comfortable and cared for. My friends say they've never had an oral cancer screening.... well it is standard with him! This is the place to go for excellent dental care!!!!

Dr poksday is a great Denist .I have been coming to his office @330 Ignacio Blv Novato for at least on of 6 years .And he is charming and great Dentist ,he will make you at ease, if u are not fond of Dental office. I ,m nervous to have the work done ,got scared for life in my home land of Poland, but Dr Poksday, took great care of me and I. M ok now . So if you are looking for the best ,then look no further go to Dr Thomas J Poksday.and get fabulous good looking teeth.

I'm new in town -- and I checked the reviews and was pleased at what I saw fro Dr. P. Got a great cleaning and already knew I'd need some fillings (prior dentist forecasted this). I was soooo nervous....and they were AH-MAH-ZING. Dr. Poksay is a) nice b) friendly c) FAST d) confident and e) makes the whole thing feel like a not-big-deal. And RDA Simone, who took care of me, was reassuring, friendly, and knew right when to give me some encouragement. Perfect blend of humor and expertise. They got down to business (even gave me a sparkly stress ball) and...you know what? The whole thing wasn't so bad! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Poksay and the crew.
