Dr. Tom graduated from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine in 1995 where he received his Degree in Dental Medicine (DMD). While in Dental School, Dr. Madl was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Society for his superior academic achievement. He then completed his 2 year Pediatric Dental Residency Program at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 1997. In order to demonstrate his proficiency in Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Madl became a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist in 2010.
Upon completion of his residency training program, Dr. Madl became a member of Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where he practiced Pediatric Dentistry at CCHMC's Harrison Outpatient Facility until he opened his current office in Harrison Ohio in 2005. Dr. Madl has been treating children in the Harrison, Ohio area since 1997.
Dr. Madl is currently an active member of the following dental organizations: American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Cincinnati Dental Society. He is an active member of the attending staff at Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

I used to think that Dr. Madl was great the first few times we visited his office. I had no complaints. Both of my sons were getting older, and we felt comfortable enough to where they could start going back to get their cleanings and work done by themselves and I could stay out in the lobby. That was my mistake for feeling, too comfortable and thinking it was okay for them to go back by themselves. My youngest son is now scarred for life and is scared to go to the dentist, because of the way Dr.Madl treated him during a cleaning. He can put on a pretty good show in front of the parents. But is a different person when the parents aren't in the room. My son was getting upset during a cleaning, and Doctor told him to "knock it off", and made him feel like he would get in trouble if he didn't sit still. Well, when you are a child, that can be very frightening, and thanks to him my child is now nervous that every dentist is mean. If he was so upset, I don't know why they didn't just come out to the lobby and get me. Dr.Madl tried to brush it off like it was no big deal. Never going back there again.

Dr. Madl and the staff are so friendly and down to earth. They went above and beyond to make my daughter feel comfortable. He talked her through the whole dental procedure. Making her feel like a princess the whole time! Thank you all so much for making her first few dental experience best as possible. You guys are the best

Highly recommend! My 2.5 year old loves going to the dentist! All staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your little one feel safe.

Dr. Madle is great ! It's his receptionist who is the most unpleasant miserable person. She is sarcastic and grumpy Every Time. I know we all have bad days, but it's a consistent issue with her.

Would not recommend. The woman at the front desk has an awful attitude and has been rude every time. We will not be returning because of the comments that were made to my daughter yesterday from Dr Madl and how the lady at the front desk treats patients.

We have been going to Dr. Madel for years, and have always had positive experiences with him and all staff. He always takes his time to explain everything and treats the parents and children with respect and compassion. Highly recommend children's dentist.!!!!

Dr Madhl and his staff are Amazing! My youngest is 4 years old and has Autism. Having his teeth cleaned are not easy for him but dr Madhl and staff treat him like Gold and show Zero frustration. Always a great experience!!!

All 4 of my children, now 33, 30, 26 & 15, LOVE Dr. Madl and his entire staff! My grand hildren also love thier experiences there. We have had pleasant experiences with fillings and actually all services. He will see your child up through college!

Dr. Madl doesn't seem to have much appreciation for his audience and was arrogant and rude to me. He insisted on giving my older child the "princess filling" bit, despite her being 9 and to old for the whole charade. I tried to talk to her, he was aggravated with me and snapped at me. Not only this, but I found it difficult to talk to and level with my children's care. I stopped seeing him after this interaction. Don't get me wrong, I think he tries very hard, but at some point you need to read your audience and sure as heck not treat the parents with such hubris.
