I graduated from the Medical College of Virginia in 1983. My wife and I traveled to Arizonaand made our home in Bullhead Cityin 1984. I have practiced dentistry since 1983 andcontinue to enjoy my profession. I have several passions in mylifeof which Dentistry is one of them. Continuing education in very important in my field of work and I find myself always available to learn what is new. My second passion is Scuba Divingwhich has taken my familyof 7to many parts of the world.

As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. Dr. Brent Hawkes grew up in Bullhead City and was active in community sports as well as high school wrestling, football, and music. He graduated from Mohave High School in the year 2000 and went on to attend Dixie College. He served a mission for the LDS Church for two years and came back to attend Brigham Young University where he met his wife. He attended Utah State University and UNLV where he completed his undergraduate school. He was accepted to University of Las Vegas Dental School and graduated in 2014. He is active in the community and enjoys working with the Mohave High School wrestling team. He also has the pleasure of working with the MCC Dental Hygiene students one day a week.

Stephanie grew up in Bullhead City and was very active in her Church and School activities. She moved away to attend SUU in Utah where she met her husband and started their family. She later moved back to Bullhead City to attend Mohave Community College Dental Hygiene Program. She came to work for her father, Dr. Tom Hawkes in 2006. She has5 children and enjoys staying at home with them as much as possible. She also enjoys working as a hygienist.She enjoys being creative and works hard at being a good mother and staying actively involved in her children's school activities.
Chris has lived in Bullhead for over 31 years. She has 5 children and10 grandchildren all of which are the joy of her life. She has worked in the dental field for about30 years off and onin between having her children. She enjoys her work and the association with the staff especially sincethree of them are her children, Dr. Brent Hawkes and Stephanie Anderson, and Nikki Beard. She loves to see the difference dentistry can make for many of the patient's looking for a change. She enjoys being creative and will usually try to fix whatever comes her way from a leaky faucet to dental acrylics in the lab.
Cheryl started dental assisting while in high school as a summer time job in Lakewood, CA. She fell in love with helping people through her association with her duties in the office. Cheryl and her husband moved from Lakewood to Bullhead City in 1978. They were blessed with two sons. She stayed active in their lives and kept them busy through school, sports and anything else she could think of. Because of this she was very active with her boys in the community. Cheryl has worked in many dental office from general dentistry to orthodontic offices. She has an upbeat personality and enjoys what life offers her.
Vickie's family moved to Bullhead City in 1988. They have three children and seven grandchildren. She has worked in the dental field for approximately 15 years of which 13 of those years have been with Dr. Hawkes office. Vickie is the first person you will meet when you come through our door. She enjoys meeting new faces and quickly remembers all those that have come before. She is a exceptional care giver and has an enormous heart. She enjoys traveling with her husband, riding the quads, reading, crafts and playing with her grand-kids. Her bucket list includes visiting Australia one day along with a cruise to Alaska.
Nikki grew up in Bullhead City, and yes she is the Dr.'s baby Daughter. Nikki works in the front and back office helping keep the office on time and making thingsrun well. She went to college in St. George, Utah and Rexburg Idaho and ran into someone she decided to marry from Ashton Idaho. Nikki now assists her Brother Dr. Brent and is the life of the party. in which there is usually a party going on with every dental treatment she assists with. People love her as she loves caring for those that come through the door.

I'm a Veteran and Dr. Hawkes office accepts community care benefits. I started off slightly annoyed that the VA changed my provider, but after my first visit I'm so glad they did. Very friendly and welcoming front end staff and their hygienist made my teeth look better than I had hoped. Definitely recommend giving this family business a shot.

We live in Minnesota, and winter in Bullhead city Arizona. We found our dentist about 20 years ago and have nothing but high praise for Dr. Tom Hawks and his son Dr. Brent Hawks. This is truly is a family business. Everyone we have come in touch with is friendly helpful and reassuring. We have never had a bad experience. (Thank you Josie Sutherland for the recommendation.)

I had an appointment with Dr. Thomas Hawkes recently and I was very pleased with the experience from start to finish. First, the woman answering the phone and making appointments was unusually knowledgeable and asked all the right questions to get the appropriate care in my situation. The visit with Dr. Hawkes was pleasant and reassuring. He took great care to explain what he was doing and why. He was gentle and obviously concerned about not causing me any discomfort. His assistant, who was in the room the whole time, was also knowledgeable and reassuring about all the potential procedures that were discussed. Dr. Hawkes' fee was reasonable and all in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Some of the best and most experienced staff I have ever met. Having anxiety and avoiding dentist for most of my life until the pain was too much, they have always made comfort the number 1 priority. I actually get excited going over their for my scheduled appointments because I know I will thank my health in the long run. I hope they see this and understand just how much they changed my views about health, especially my teeth. I regret a lot of what I didn't do in the past but they gave me a new beginning. Let them give to you what they were able to give to me.

They are excellent dentist. I had a when he put enamal crown on he matched the color perfect. 4 employees look to agree it was a perfect match. It was. Explains everything. Never ever trust to push what you don't need. He trys to save you money but giving you best results. They are definitely a 5 star.
