Dr. Thomas H. Pyne was born and raised in Missouri and attended St. Louis University where he graduated with a degree in Chemistry. He then attended Howard University Dental School in Washington, D.C. where met his wife, Vicki. They were married in 1984, a year prior to his graduation from dental school in 1985. He opened his Denver dental practice in 1987 after a brief stop in St. Louis. Childhood memories of ski trips in the Rockies beckoned him to Colorado.
Dr. Pyne is the proud father of five children, Alyssia, Thomas, Rachel, Stephanie, and Matthew. He enjoys running, biking, skiing, and almost anything outdoors. He is on a mission to read every book about prisoners of war escaping prison camps during World War II. Dr. Pyne can often be heard sharing stories about Oklahoma, where his sister and father live. He loves the Avalanche, Broncos, Nuggets, and Rockies, but cannot seem to leave behind the St. Louis Blues, his first hockey love. If he had one other career wish, it would have been to study turf management and work at Sports Authority Fields at Mile High Stadium. No man enjoys cutting his grass more than Dr. Pyne (insert smile).

Dr Pyne, DDS has always done a awesome job on my teeth. I went in this week. Everyone had their mask on, and man they made sure I had no fever, and they made sure that we were all safe. I appreciate it because last month I had a cold, and they made sure that i was ok to reschedule this month. I appreciate all their hard work to keep me safe. Thank you. The dentist and hygienist were fine, though as other reviewers mentioned, there was a constant mention of "things we'll need to do soon" that my previous dentist said were fine and there was a lot of awkward banter between the two of them that made me feel uncomfortable for the hygienist. Where they need work is in the administrative department. No one was wearing a mask at the front desk (writing this during the pandemic) and despite watching the staff call my insurance, having my plan sent over, being told that everything was good to go except for some photos, and then paying for that uncovered cost, I still received a bill for fluoride which I should have been told wasn't covered by insurance. I went to pay during business hours and they weren't there. I guess they closed early today. I'm a one-strike person when it comes to medical billing if I have other options, and I do, so I will be finding another dentist.

Absolutely terrible !! I went as a child and thought it was pretty good, went back as an adult and I was robbed! Martha the reactions never sent the right papers to the insurance company and decided to charge me $900 for something I didn't even want she is a horrible person. De lune push procedures on you so he can make money and will do them and charge you later. Safe you money and you time with these crooks!

Dr. Pyne is a wonderful dentist! He will walk you through the procedure step by step and make sure you're totally comfortable throughout! I had to go in a for a Root Canal and he was completely thorough and about as gentle as a dentist can be! I recommend him and give him 5 stars across the board. His assistants are friendly and his secretary is also very thorough and knowledgeable about procedures and costs! If you want comfort and a healthy smile he is your go-to man! *Thanks Dr. Pyne!* **UPDATE, 2018** Please keep in mind, while i genuinely believe Dr. Pyne is a great dentist and very good at what he does, he might suggest a procedure that you might not need at all. It appears his specialty(s) are root canals, crowns, and the build-up for crowns. PLEASE get a second opinion before proceeding forward. You could potentially save yourself A LOT of money.

I have had the pleasure to meet and work with Dr Pyne with multiple mutual patients. His communication with me has been wonderful and his treatment of those patients top notch. I was introduced to Dr. Pyne and his incredible staff in 2011 and have been going to his office ever since! Not only is Dr. Pyne professional but he is approachable, friendly, and loves to talk. His staff is always smiling, welcoming, and friendly. Best part, Sylvia will clean your teeth thoroughly and have you laughing by the end of your appointment. I highly recommend his office for all your dental needs, you couldn't ask for a better experience!
