I have been a patient of Dr. Faiver ever since he joined Dr. John Luke many years ago. I had several crowns and 6 porcelain veneers 12 years ago and they are like new. I am 84 and still have all my own teeth so I would say he is doing pretty good.

Dr Faiver is fantastic as is his staff. His feedback on my teeth is consistently helpful without feeling judgemental and he is wonderful with our daughter.

He's very friendly and his work holds up for a couple of years. Every crown he has done has failed. Just lost #4 today. Filling cavities are fine. I wouldn't suggest seeing him for more than that

I have been a patient of Dr. Faiver for a couple years, since I came to him for a second opinion after another dental firm in East Lansing that had been bought by a large firm brought in a young dentist who found faint crack marks on a molar and proposed I allow him to widen the cracks and fill them with amalgam. That seemed extremely strange to me, since my teeth have been exceptionally strong and the new dentist did not take x-rays to see if there was a deep seated problem. He could not catch his probe in these "cracks". And why would it make sense to widen them and make the tooth weaker, since amalgam is not a strong as enamel? To me it sounded like the auto repair shop supervisor who, after his mechanic rotated my tires, told me they found a pinion gear leaking and they wanted to fix it. Little did he know that I know what a pinion gear is and the two that were on my car had not shown evidence of a leak. So I told him no thanks and kept the car for years without pinion problems. Dr. Faiver did a thorough exam and concluded that these "cracks" were just superficial surface features that would cause no issues. And he agreed that my teeth were in terrific shape, like a 30 year-old (I was over 60.). Dr. Faiver is a man with integrity and with his patients' well-being at heart.
