Endodontist are trained to preserve natural tooth having extensive decay involving the pulp or fracture that leads to pain or a previously treated unsuccessful root canal. An Endodontist is a dentist with two to three additional years of training specifically focused on diagnosing and treating problems involving the pulpal and periapical structure of the tooth. Endodontists can treat a tooth both surgical and nonsurgical ultimately leading to preserving the tooth structure and maintaining esthetics and masticatory efficiency. Endodontists are trained to help diagnose oral-facial pain that are difficult to diagnose by a general dentist.

I wish I could give this person a six. all my root canals were excellent had a great bedside manner. the last root canal he did was difficult but he hung in there and kept going and it turned out well.

I am a 100% disabled veteran and was sent to this guy and first conversation he looked uninterested as if I was a bother to be seen. He reluctantly agreed to start one out of two root canals ordered by the VA and went to work. Wore a mask but kept coughing next to my open mouth. As he was packing the tooth, he would continuously put his whole body weight on my lower jaw with his finger hooking my throat even when I physically removed his hand, he kept gripping my jaw while very dramatic and roughly shoving the material in my tooth. At the end he told me he was done and my mouth was numb, he scheduled another appointment and I went on my way. As I got home I find a huge hole in the top where he was working and the gauze still packed in the tooth leaving it exposed and every time I breath I feel pain. I've had a root canal before, but never have I had a more negative experience with a healthcare provider in my life.

I have several issues that need to be addressed (haven't been to a dentist in five years), and Dr. Acierno and his staff did a wonderful job in explaining what the issues were and what needed to be done to correct those issues. I ended up having a root canal. Everything went well and I will be going back in January for the next procedure. Dr. Acierno was caring and empathetic to my fears and was able to patiently talk me through what needed to be done. I would recommend Dr. Acierno to family and friends. This is an excellent practice with caring staff.

Very friendly stuff and extremely professional dentist and dental assistant. They helped me overcome my fears and made a very complicated procedure less painful

Nobody really wants to get a root canal, but Dr Acierno definitely made it as good an experience as I could have hoped for. After getting numbed before the procedure, the pain throughout was minimal and bearable. I was prescribed painkillers for the forecast pain I would be in for a few days after the anesthetic wore off. However, I was fine the rest of the day and two days later the pain is still pretty minimal. I took otc ibuprofen the first night before bed, but so far that is all I needed. Dr Acierno's staff were all very friendly and welcoming also, especially Robert. Thanks to all of them for helping make an unpleasant procedure a little bit better.

Friendly and entertaining doctor and staff, the experience was in no way unpleasant, besides the general discomfort of having to get a root canal. Clean comfortable facility. I did not experience any pain during the procedure, no overly long waiting periods and overall everything went well!

Great experience! The doctor fixed a bad root canal and all I can say is it was the best experience I could have hoped for. Everyone there is very nice and the Doctor did the procedure in a snap and had me out of there in no time. If you are looking around for a good surgeon with a friendly personality and great staff you have found it! 5 STARS +.

Dr. Acierno did a magnificent job on my husband's root canal! My husband has had many terrible experiences with dentists that led to him putting off his dental care. Dr. Acierno made him feel welcome and well cared for. He had a pretty nasty root canal, and he didn't feel a thing! The assistants and receptionists were very kind and welcoming as well. One of the best experiences we've had at a dental office by far. We thank you very much for your commitment to excellence.

Awesome experience! He diagnosed the issue that was causing a major infection and had several follow-ups to ensure I was good to go. Not to mention his staff and him are hilarious and fun to be around. Glad I found Dr. Acierno!
