We offer every patient the same treatment that we would recommend for a member of our own family. We do not recommend any treatment that we do not think is absolutely necessary for any member of your family. We promise to be as gentle and kind as is possible. We will use all of our years of experience to recommend and perform only the treatment that we know will work for you.
Dr. Fitzsimmons is a firm believer in giving back to the community that he lives in. He volunteers monthly at the free dental clinic for the working poor at the Look Up Center, and is a member of the board of that organization.
Dr. Fitzsimmons grew up in Connecticut. He was third of 11 children. He graduated with a BS from the University of Dayton in 1976. He received his dental degree from the Ohio State University in 1980 and started his own dental practice. He and his wife raised four children, and he is a lifelong member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, and the WD Miller Dental Association, of which he is past president.
Dr. Fitzsimmons was the chairman of the finance committee at Newark Catholic High School for 12 years, and Vice President of the school board for the same period. He was president of the Newark Catholic Jr. High Athletic Association for 3 years. He is currently Chairman of the Finance Committee at Blessed Sacrament Church and has been for the last 19 years. His one and only hobby is running the family cattle farm of 146 acres, which he says keeps him feeling young.

Staff is super nice and friendly! Dr. Fitzsimmons is great at what I'm here does! Had a cavity that needed filled, zero pain and was done quickly without any issues!

I used to go to them when they were out in Hanover, I love that they are closer in town now. Had a great first time back experience. Staff was great and very informative. The Dr even remembered who I was from many years ago.

Today was my very first visit to this office. I was treated with respect/dignity and it was if I had been a patient for years. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I love the small town, down to earth feel of the office. Staff is nice and informative, the same of Dr. Fitzsimmons. Also fast and no wait! You make an appointment, that is when you are seen! I had 2 fillings done within 30 min. In and out!

Great dental office, very caring and friendly! I have been coming here I believe since 1985. I have always had a smiling face greeting me when I walked through the door. Always very pleasant during the visit, the cleanings and the routine check-up. I recently had a tooth that had broke, they got me in right away (even with the Holiday approaching) and took care of fixing it (pain free). I was able to eat Thanksgiving dinner with no problems. I highly recommend Dr Fitzsimmons and his staff for your dental needs.

Dr Fitzsimmons and the staff are always friendly. Their offices are always clean. They make you feel like your family, and put you at ease no matter what is being done. I've never felt pain with any dental procedure, fillings or cleanings. A place that I trust for my friends and family. I've gone to them since I was a kid, and my kids go there. Dr Fitzsimmons office is by far the best office around. You will feel like family every time you walk in. I came here on recommendation when every other dentist refused to do anything but pull a tooth with issues. Not only did he fix the tooth but have my teeth and gums healthier than they have ever been. My dental health has never been more amazing since I met this Dr Fitzsimmons and staff

This office has been fantastic. They have respected our breath freely rights and more importantly have corrected dental issues that were done poorly by our last dentist. They have helped getting our regular cleanings back on track and helped our younger children understand the importance of taking Care of your teeth. Very thankful for all of them.
