Dr. Newman grew up in the Bensenville and Elmhurst area where he graduated from IC High School. Dr. Newman attended Purdue University for his undergraduate studies and continued on to Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry where he completed his DDS degree in 1982.
Dr. Newman likes to focus his practice primarily on prevention and restorative dentistry for the entire family. He works to maintain close connections with many area specialists in order to help solve routine as well as complex dental needs of patients. Dr. Newman believes strongly in listening and developing relationships with his patients so, together, they can decide the best approach for dental care.
In addition to maintaining close connections and developing relationships, Dr. Newman makes it a priority to continue acquiring knowledge in regards to technique and technology. He places much emphasis on continued education in order to better serve his patients.
Dr. Newman is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society and the American Dental Society. Dr. Newman has also been affiliated with Marklund since 1989. Marklund is a non-profit organization that serves infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs.

Dr. Newman and his staff are so friendly, thorough, and skilled. I've been a patient for at least 20 years and always have confidence that I'm getting excellent care, whether for routine visits or special procedures. Dr. Newman always carefully explains what he's doing and why, and procedures have always been painless! Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for years and have had nothing but the best experience each time. Melissa is very thorough and informative how I can better my home care. She always answers my questions to the best of her ability. She is also very gentle with flossing and caring for my teeth. Dr. Newman is great as well! Always so nice and personable. I trust that I am receiving the best care with Melissa and Dr. Newman on my team!

On my visit, all safety procedures were followed. Everything according to CDC requirements & more. I have worked in hospitals & surgical offices for over 50yrs. & I felt as safe as one can be. On top of that...he's a terrific Dentist! I'm 76 & have had 5 dentists over the years. Hands down, he is my favorite! My daughter, son-in-law & granddaughter needed a dentist so I recommended Dr. Newman. Now we're all happy. Thank you Dr. Newman!

I have been a patient of Dr. Newman's for many years. He and all of his staff always make me feel so comfortable and put me at ease. Dr. Newman, and his staff, are the BEST that have ever given me dental care. Almost every dentist I've received treatment from has been good but this team is great. In my profession we have multiple dental offices that are clients and I tend to the majority of them. One thing that I have noticed is that the technology and protocols Dr. Newman has implemented due to Covid are exceptional. A real first class operation.
