Dr. Thielbar was born and raised in the Muskegon area. He attended Muskegon Community College out of high school and earned his bachelors degree from Michigan State University in 1999. Dr. Thielbar graduated from The University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2003 and returned to Muskegon in private practice.
Thielbar Family Dental strives to provide total family care in one convenient location. We provide oral surgery, periodontal therapy, root canal therapy, and cosmetic dentistry in addition to general dentistry.

I love this office. Our family has always been well taken care. They even get me in quick for emergency or painful situations. Friendly staff, and the dentist always personally gives a call to check on you after procedures.

My appt was scheduled for 10 am I waited till almost 11am before we got started. Other then that all in all it was good. Dr thielbar was very courteous

All of the staff that I interacted with were very kind, caring and friendly. After having a terrible experience elsewhere, I was very anxious and scared to do anywhere else. Dr Thielbar was the exact opposite. He was very friendly, upbeat, patient and had a great sense of humor. They even have a "menu" on the wall of things to help make you visit as pleasant as possible. I felt very comfortable and definitely encourage anyone looking for a dentist to give this place a try, you won't regret it!

Dr. Theilbar goes above and beyond. Went in for a filling and ended up being a lot more in-depth then planned. Dr. Theilbar called me later in the evening to see how I was feeling!! He explained that what I was feeling is expected and to call if it didn't subside or got worse. I've never had a Dr. Care enough to call and check on me after hours. Such a great feeling knowing he actually cares about his patients.

Very clean, staff is friendly and informative. They always take care of our family and get us in as soon as they can. I was terrified of having a tooth pulled and I am not lying when I say I laughed when he was done because I couldn't believe I made myself suffer for months! When it was over in 2 minutes if not less than that, not to mention I called at 8:00am and the tooth was gone by 9:30!

Our entire family adores Dr. Theilbar and every one of his wonderful staff; we always feel well taken care of, have every procedure explained, and feel listened to when voicing any concerns about our teeth. We have three children between the ages of two and five and all three of them feel safe and secure in this office; going to the dentist never induces fear in our house.

I am new to the area and was in need of a new dentist. A quick google search later and I was set up here. The staff is very nice and professional. I needed a filling and was scheduled quickly. Later in the day following my filling, Dr. Thielbar himself called to make sure everything was feeling good and to see if I had any issues. I would gladly recommend this dental office to anyone.
