Dr. Erika Theisen has been providing patients with exceptional comprehensive and cosmetic dental care since 2010. A Twin Cities native, Dr. Theisen obtained her Bachelor of Biology degree from The University of St. Thomas and herDoctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota.

In July of 2015, Dr. Theisen purchased an existing practice, which is now Theisen Dental. She has enjoyed practicing in Central Minnesota ever since. The community has been very welcoming, making her feel right at home. Dr. Theisen thrives on staying on the cutting-edge of dentistry. Thus, she completes many hours of continuing education each and every year with a special emphasis on dental implants and comprehensive cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Theisen has completed additional specialized training at the Spear Institute in Scottsdale, Arizona. Spear Seminars and Workshops provide top-notch dental education and Dr. Theisen is excited to implement the skills and knowledge she gains at Spear into her practice. Dr. Theisen has also completed a dental implant residency at the White Cap Institute in Heber City, Utah and various implant courses through Zimmer-Biomet in Carlsbad, California.

Dr. Theisen has a very gentle approach to dentistry and compassion for her patients. It is important to her that patients are well-informed, comfortable, and confident with their treatment decisions. It has been an honor owning her own practice, forming meaningful relationships with her loyal staff and patients. Dr. Theisen enjoys the variety that General Dentistry provides and loves working with all ages.

In her free time, Erika enjoys spending time with her husband Mitch,her son Gary, daughter Evelyn and their Blue-Tick Coonhound named Etta. She loves boating, mountain biking, skiing, and anything outdoors!

Shelly is passionate about her patients, her children and grandchildren. She has spent the last 20 years delivering the best care to our patients with a big smile and a listening ear. Ask Shelly about her latest traveling adventure. She is a lady on the go and loves to share stories. Especially about her grandchildren, 1 new baby in 2020 for a total of 7. Lucky Grandma!

Julie has been a Hygienist in our office for 33 years! She loves her patients and has many successes helping them improve their oral health. Her kids are growing up! Abigail and Andrea are attending college in Winona. Andrea is running cross country and track for WSU. Ben is a very active 16 year old. Julie and John are always on the run attending their kids sporting events. Summers you will find her camping with her family and enjoying the great outdoors at the lake.

Maggie has been our Doctor Care Coordinator for 19 years. She is fluent in Spanish and Sign Language and is always ready for a little mischief! She does a lot of camping, hiking and biking 'up North' with her family. Became a Grandma in 2018 and loves to spend time with her two grandson 's, Isaiah and Elias.

Heidi started as a Dental Assistant in our office 21 years ago before going back to college to become a Registered Hygienist in 2004. She has been a full time Hygienist in our office since 2012. We love Heidi's enthusiasm and animation. She tells the best stories and has lots of tips on brushing and that F word - Flossing! Heidi and Joe enjoy camping, traveling, boating, gardening, motorcycling and, of course, their three children Halle, Parker and Finlie. Can't forget their newest addition, their kitty, Mable! :)

Brenda is a readaholic, loves spending time with her ten grandchildren and traveling with her husband. One of these days she hopes to visit Ireland and Australia. You can find her working on insurance, billing and social media. #lovesherjob #likeusonfacebook :)

Shelley has been assisting chairside for 30 years. She loves the variety hercareer provides, as well as the many new people she gets to meet! Shejoined our team in September 2018. Shelley and her husband, Lawrence, livein Princeton with their two teenage children. Her pastimes include laying in her pool,reading, camping, and traveling.

Becky started working in our office in May 2018 as a Dental Hygienist. She has a passion for running and traveling. Her next adventure will be taking place in Portland, Oregon to run a marathon. Becky and her fiance, Dan had to postpone their wedding due to Covid19 to October 2021. They have been doing house projects to stay busy! Her most recent adventure was camping in Duluth enjoying the North Shore.

Mikaela joined us in July 2018 as Preventive Care Coordinator. She is from Baudetteon Lake of the Woods and loves to be outdoors, fish and spend time withher family. Mikaela just became an aunt in March 2020 and looks forward to every trip back home to visit her nephew. They recently got a new addition to their family, a golden retriever named Winston! : )
