In most ways,Invisalignis just as good as braces. Although there are a few bite related problems that may be addressed more easily with braces, the advantages of removable clear aligners often outweigh any advantages braces may have.
Invisalign treatment is used to correct the esthetic and functional problems of misaligned teeth in much the same way braces do. In other words, smiles can be made more beautiful and bite problems can be corrected using Invisalign.
Although Invisalign has a product aimed exclusively at young children, most kids will do better withtraditional braces. Once all the permanent teeth have erupted (usually around 12 or 13) Invisalign becomes a good option, and a possible alternative to braces.
The main concern people seem to have with Invisalign is that patients need to think about their orthodontic treatment more often. Trays need to be removed each time you eat or brush your teeth, but the trays should really be in 22-23 hrs per day. This means no forgetting to wear them! Most patients think this is a good trade off, but it is always good to discuss the pros and cons with an orthodontist before deciding which is the better treatment for you.
A typical General Dentist sees at most a few orthodontic patients a year, and Invisalign is their only option. Dr. Wright has treatedover 12,000 orthodontic patients, and understands all the important aspects of (and the need for!) a customized orthodontic plan for each patient. Invisalign may be the best treatment for you, but there may be reasons why you may not be a good candidate for Invisalign. Also if things dont go exactly as planned, a general dentist will not know about all the options for finishing your case. Dr. Wright DOES. Dr Wright and his staff are caring and wonderful. My son is nonspeaking and on the autism spectrum. Dr Wright and his team (Dianne is fantastic) put braces on my son. They were patient and kind in accommodating him during X-rays, braces, and retainer phases. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Dr. Wright and his team for people with and without disabilities.

Frankly I was not thrilled about having orthodontics as an adult, but I had no choice if I wanted to successfully treat my TMJ. From the moment I walked into the office for my consultation I knew that I was in good hands. Dr Wright is extremely knowledgable and personable. All of my interactions with the staff have been excellent. I made progress a little quicker than originally estimated and the results are fantastic. My bite is aligned perfectly, my smile is natural and best of all my TMJ is no longer an issue. It was time and money well invested. Thank you!

Dr. Wright and his team are amazing. They are simply the best. I had TMJ issues. With his meticulous orthodontic treatment, my issues are resolved. My bite is better and my teeth look awesome! I am so happy! I could not recommend a better orthodontist. His office staff members are so sweet, kind, and conscientious. I am a physician myself and am very picky about my doctors. Every orthodontist I saw said I needed to have some HUGE surgery and split my mouth open. NO WAY!! Dr. Wright, said he could do something that would get me 80% or better of what I wanted without surgery. YES!!! He was kind, he was understanding and his team walked me through getting braces as an adult. If you are nervous and don't want to do surgery like I was then call Dr. Wright and have him and his team help you. I promise you won't regret it.

Absolutely the best! Had my first set of braces as a teenager then returned 6 years later for a shorter treatment to realign a few teeth (after not wearing my retainers!). I had moved to Los Angeles and struggled to find an orthodontist that felt right so I decided to make the commute to Camarillo every month to have my treatment done specifically at The Wright Center! The staff here is incredibly professional and welcoming to all patients. You can tell everyone loves and enjoys the work they do and it truly shows in their results! I would give this office 10 stars if I could. We went for my son's braces and stayed for my Invisalign. Throughout our five year treatment, the office was always clean, efficient, courteous, and professional. Dr. Wright was an excellent listener, and delivered exactly what we needed for our family. I would recommend Dr. Wright's office to any family, for any orthodontic work, for anyone of any age. P.S. Ask about getting fangs for Halloween! Not kidding! Dr. Wright will hook you up.

All three of our daughters received treatment from Dr. Wright. He is skillful, kind, really knows how to work with tweens and teens and extremely generous with the community, including local schools. His office staff is super competent and friendly. I'm glad we are done with this phase of our lives, but if we had to do it all over, we would definitely use Dr. Wright again!

We came here a few years ago after several great recommendations from friends. Dr Wright's office is kind, efficient, honest and knowledgable. He takes the time at your consultation to walk you through the process and is upfront with cost, estimated timing, and possible areas of concern. He is super with the kiddos. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. When you see that beautiful smile for the first time after the braces are taken off, wow--it is the best gift to give your child! We are about to start our 2nd daughter under his care. As for pricing....I went back and forth in my mind before taking the plunge. Yes, his pricing is a bit higher than other orthodontists in the area (at least about $500+ higher based on my inquiries). This really caused me to pause and reflect/research my options. I moved ahead and by the end of Phase 1 with my first daughter, I decided the care and attention you receive is worth the extra money. He is very upfront with your total package pricing, no hidden surprises which I truly appreciated. When it comes to his pricing being higher, my point of view is: This is my child's face/smile that she will have it for the rest of her LIFE---I'm willing to pay a little extra to ensure the best possible outcome in the most efficient time frame. Once you have such a stellar reputation, you can charge a bit more and customers willingly pay. It is apparent to me that Dr. Wright has earned this reputation through hard work and years of satisfied customers, and thus I'm willing to overlook the additional market cost.
