After graduating from the University of Illinois Dental School in 1985, I proudly served in the United States Navy, and have been practicing general dentistry here in Sandwich since 1993. But that doesnt mean Im done learning; I participate extensively in continuing education through The Dawson Academy, The Pankey Institute, and Academy of General Dentistry where I was awarded Fellowship in 2007. Im a member of the American Dental Association and have repeatedly served as a voting delegate to the Illinois State Dental Society. Im also a former president of the Fox River Valley Dental Society.

One of the hallmarks of our practice is what we call Compassionate Dentistry. It goes beyond expert, high-level dental care. Its a way of practicing dentistry that puts our patients comfort first. Gentle, informative dentistry has become our standard of care.

I am a firm believer in giving back to the community as exemplified by my participation in the Dentist with a Heart program that provides free dental services to local citizens in need. I also volunteer time to educate local school children during Childrens Dental Health Month. I have participated in the Illinois State Dental Society Mission of Mercy, which provides dental care to thousands of patients. We participate in the Donated Dental Services program, which provides free care to patients with special needs. Traveling with a Christian mission in 2008, 2009, 2011, and, 2013 to provide dental services to the people of Honduras has been a rewarding opportunity for me to extend my service to our fellow citizens of the world. During each of these opportunities to serve, I have been blessed to be assisted by a giving and dedicated staff who readily volunteer to help.

I grew up in Naperville, IL and currently reside in Aurora, IL with my husband/high school sweet heart, Kevin. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Iowa and returned to Chicago to complete my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University-Illinois. I was trained in the latest technology and techniques and I am excited to provide exceptional care for the Waters Dental Group family!

In line with Dr. Waters philosophies and values, I am focused on providing patient-centered, compassionate, comprehensive dental care while forming lasting relationships with my patients. I hope my fun-loving, honest and warm personality helps to ease your dental experience.

I am an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and Chicago Dental Society. Dr. Waters and I share a passion for learning and I am frequently attending meetings and continuing education courses in order to provide the best care possible for my patients.

I am a lifetime resident of the Sandwich area and thoroughly enjoy working and living within this community. I graduated from Waubonsee Community College in 2008 with a focus in Medical Science. I have opened my own massage therapy business, and enjoy owning two small businesses on the side. I joined The Waters Dental Group family in August of 2011, before I was a patient. I did not know anything about the dental field when I began here, but I have learned a lot, and now I continue to love learning about dentistry and advancements in their field. I am a board member for The Sandwich Chamber of Commerce, and LOVE this business community and the faces and leaders of each business. In 2017 I was awarded the prestige Karen Bohr-Sepaniak Award for Volunteer of the Year, and this is a team effort allowing me to be the face of Waters Dental Group while the rest of the team runs the office. Outside the dental industry, and entrepreneurship, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends doing various outdoor activities, including boating, campfires, and flying an airplane. I love to travel and have a lot of places to see on my bucket list.

I grew up in Earlville, IL and still reside in LaSalle County with my family. I graduated from North Central College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising, with a minor in Marketing. I began my career in the retail field, as a Manager for the Target Corporation. After 5 years, I took a step back from the retail world and started a new career as a Corporate Administrative Assistant for a family owned business in Aurora, IL.

In August 2018, we welcomed a baby boy and became a family of 3! Shortly after, I joined The Waters Dental Group as an Administrative Assistant. Although I did not have any prior knowledge of the dental field, I am enjoying learning all things dental! The patients and staff have been so welcoming as I continue to learn and grow in this field. I have thoroughly enjoyed working for such a family-oriented practice and really do have some of the best and caring co-workers!

Outside of work, you will find me spending time with my family and enjoying all the firsts that come with having a new little one! We are also big sports fans, Go Pack Go! (Fun fact our dog Beau is named after Lambeau Field!) I look forward to continuing my knowledge of the dental field and seeing familiar faces throughout the community.

Since my graduation from Parkland College in 1999, I have been a hygienist with Dr. Waters. Prior to my schooling, I was a dental receptionist and chairside assistant. I enjoy working and living in Sandwich. I find it especially rewarding when I see patients in the community and they get to meet my husband and daughters. I love the connections I make here with my co-workers and patients.

Originally from Bourbonnais, IL., I completed my degree in dental hygiene at SIU-C in 1992. I began my career on the south-side of Chicago for a few years before settling at an office in Yorkville where I continue to work part-time. I had the privilege of becoming part of the Waters Dental Group in 2012, filling in when needed. The staff and patients have given me a warm welcome as I inspire to continue making a difference in the dental experience.

I reside in Sandwich with my husband, Brad, two children, Jake and McKenna, and Labrador, Jersey. In my spare time, I can be found hitting the gym, enjoying outdoor activities and taking care of my family.

I have twenty years experience in the dental field, beginning as a front desk receptionist and moving to a clinical assistant. Since graduation from Rock Valley College in 2006, I have enjoyed my time as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Sycamore for many years, where I currently continue to work part time.

I find my chosen profession rewarding in so many ways. I see the importance of the oral/systemic connection and strive to educate my patients of all ages the important concept of healthy mouth healthy body. I understand the importance of attending continuing education courses, value the advances of dentistry, and take pride in eliminating the fear in our patients while obtaining trusting relationships and providing excellent care. Being a lifelong Sandwich resident, I am honored to join such a great community-focused practice that puts patients first, while delivery the best quality care.

My husband, Josh, and I enjoy making spending time and making memories with our two children, Macie and Tucker. We keep busy with our two local businesses; JC Health and Fitness in Sandwich and Indian Creek Tree Farm in Leland.

Of my 41 years in dentistry, 36 of them have been spent with The Waters Dental Group. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Elgin Community College, and since then, I have pursued continuing education opportunities and have received certification in coronal polishing and sealants. I enjoy many aspects of dentistry, especially learning all the new technology and the close relationships with co-workers and patients. Im happy to know that the patients we treat at The Waters Dental Group are receiving the best possible care.

I recently relocated to the Sandwich area from upstate New York. I have an associate degree in Liberal Arts and Science. I also took an accredited program in Dental Assisting and finished my internship in 2000. Each year, I participated in classes at the University of Buffalo Dental School to continue my education. I worked as a certified Dental Assistant for a general dental office for 14 years. The office was located in a rural community where we saw patients that were local farmers and migrant workers.

When Im not in the office, I love to cheer on my kids at their school and sports activities. I enjoy gardening, hiking, and camping. I am excited to be a part of a team that focuses on compassionate dentistry with great integrity.

I have an associates degree in Early Childhood Education, and while going to school, I got a job as a dental assistant and fell in love with dentistry. I have been assisting for over 20 years now. I love educating patients about their dental health and love getting to know the patients. I have a lot of experience with not only general dentistry, but also orthodontics, oral surgery, and periodontics.

I reside in Yorkville with my husband, Keith, and our 4 children; TJ, Addisyn, and twins, Drew and Teaghan. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. When not at work you can find me on the sidelines of either a field or a court doing what I love the mostwatching and cheering on my very active kids.

Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are made so that when you receive care, its both safe and comfortable. We want to tell you about the infection control procedures we follow in our practice to keep patients and team members safe.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up to date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.
