I have been a patient of Dr. P for over 30 years. He has provided outstanding dental expertise for me from routine cleaning, to fillings, extractions, crowns, even a recent emergency root canal. His attention to detail and quality finished products is superb. I trust Dr. P with my most urgent and challenging dental procedures.

I've been a patient of Dr. P's for over 10 years. I thought I was managing my TMJ pain and headaches ok, but once I saw Dr. P I was able to become pain free! My sleep was better, my energy levels improved and my overall whole quality of life improved dramatically. Dr. P is patient, a great listener and really cares for and wants to help his patient's. He is a true expert in the field and as a physical therapist I highly recommend him to my own patients and to anyone with with TMJ issues.

I went there and paid $600 for an exam and only thing I got was a bill. No written diagnosis and no treatment plan.

Office care was fantastic. Admin for notice of appointments fell short.

If you are being told to get a CPAP machine. STOP and read this! Dr Paul Piontkowski is a miracle worker. After Dr Piontkowski made my husband a sleep appliance he slept so soundly last night that I had to check to make sure he was alive and next to me! You know when the power goes out and you realize how quiet the house actually is? That is exactly how I felt last night. As soon as my husband put in the appliance and drifted off to sleep--it. was. so. quiet. I guess I didn't realize how loud he really was. He woke up the next morning and was a different person. Sprung right out of bed!! Saying he can't believe how much sleep he got. We have been to many TMJ and Sleep specialists--- there is no other. Go to him--you (and your partner!) will see an IMMEDIATE quality of life improvement!

Dr. P is one of the few dentists/doctors remaining out there that actually practice medicine. He doesn't just fix symptoms, he treats problems. It's clear that his goal is to not just fill a cavity and cash a check, but to improve your overall health - whether it's dental, tmj related, sleep related, etc. A rare find today, when most dentists are concerned about their bottom line first and their patients' well-being second. He's attentive, talented, and considerate. He doesn't order unnecessary treatments and he recommends the fastest and least intrusive treatment plans possible. A+++

Dr. P is more than a dentist. He looks at the whole person. He has helped me more than any physician I've seen. He has given me a path to feeling better (which I do) and now i have hope. Dr P is very knowledgeable about not only tmj, but about sleep problems and the multitude of symptoms that come with it. He listens and he cares that you feel better. I totally recommend Dr P and have.

Dr. Piontkowski has been treating my TMJ for several years. He taught me so many practical and cost-efficient ways to minimize my TMJ symptoms and improve my quality of life. Prior to Dr. P, I was basically told that I'd have TMJ all my life, it would always be a problem, and I should take pain meds when it gets too bad. His Office Manager is wonderful, as well. She knows so much about insurance and proper billing. She can always answer my questions. They make a great team!!! I am very grateful to the caring staff at Washington TMJ Center! I highly recommend them for anyone who has been told they just have to 'put up with' their TMJ problems. There is help AND hope! PJ
