Having been at the Village Dental Center since 2012, Dr. Harmon has great pride in taking the time to care for one patient at a time. With passion for being on the cutting edge of the industry, He has taken numerous continuing education courses, including: topics on implant dentistry, Cerec technology, cosmetic dentistry and dental ceramics to improve aesthetics and strength, managing gum disease, advanced reconstructive dentistry, and many more. Dr. Harmon feels it a privilege to care for every patient and looks forward to making lasting friendships with each person. He has been involved in dentistry at many levels since 2005. He attended the Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ and received a DMD in 2012. While in school he received many awards for service and clinical accomplishment and also held prominent leadership roles on the student governing board. Upon graduating, he joined the Village Dental Center as well as being recruited to be part of the dental school pre-clinical faculty.

He has affiliated himself with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, the LDS Academy of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, and is a Mentor to other dentists in The Cerec Doctors Organization. He has also lectured at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, one of the top venues for continuing dental education.

Dr. Harmon is originally from Wichita, KS, but moved to Phoenix, AZ in January 2003 to study music. His musical interest and talent led him to Flagstaff, AZ where he attended Northern Arizona University on a full music scholarship. During his time up north, he played his trumpet in numerous venues. Two highlights of his time with music was performing the trumpet solos for Handels Messiah at the annual Christmas performance and touring Germany with the wind symphony in 2007. During his time at NAU, he received a bachelor's degree in Trumpet Performance, but it was during that time he discovered his interest in dentistry, and he began preparing himself for a life time of service to his patients. Dr. Harmon is married to Monica, his lovely wife, and together, they have four good- looking sons, Oakley, Peyton, Brigham, and Kai. In their spare time they love to exercise as a family, play board games, gardening, assemble 1000 piece puzzles, complete crafting projects with Monica, swim, bike, hike and travel. Dr. Harmon also still loves to play his trumpet on occasion and will start teaching his oldest son, Oakley how to play this upcoming year.

Dr. Matthew Harmon and the team at the Village Dental Center are thrilled to welcome Dr. H. Wayne Chesser as Dr. Harmons new clinical partner. Dr. Harmon chose Dr. Chesser because he is an accomplished dentist, and they both share the same patient-centered philosophy-provide patients with excellent, comfortable dental care using the latest technology to create outstanding patient experiences and outcomes.

Dr. Chesser graduated from the renowned University of Colorado Dental School where he was awarded the certificate of recognition from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry for his outstanding work as a dental student with implant dentistry. After graduating he has been practicing dentistry in Tucson.

Before dental school, Dr. Chesser received a degree in Business from Arizona Western College in his hometown of Yuma, AZ. After graduation, Dr. Chesser then began working at the Yuma Army Test Center as a civilian contractor for six years before he found the profession of dentistry calling his name. Skilled with his hands, very comfortable with technology, and articulate in conversation, Dr. Chesser and his wife Holly (along with their five daughters) decided to head back to school and start a second career. To prepare for dental school, he was awarded a grant by the National Science Foundation to attend Northern Arizona University in the Biology program.

Dr. Chesser and his whole family are pure outdoor lovers, with the passion to ride dirt bikes, mountain bikes, snowboards, or just about anything else outdoors that is fun and fast. Additionally, they love to camp, hike, swim, boat, and travel. Dr. Chesser also played competitive ice hockey from the time he was young all the way through dental school. He still has all his natural teeth, unlike many hockey players, so he was destined to be a dentist from the get-go.

A man with a very big heart, while in dental school Dr. Chesser had the chance to serve different communities in health clinics all over the state. He looks forward to more opportunities to give back as he and his family settle into the west side of the Valley and put down roots.

I am lucky to be able to call The Village Dental Center my place of work. I started here as an assistant to Dr Harmon in 2012! My goal up front is to make sure our patients know how much we appreciate them, are educated on how our office runs, and they leave with a smile. I love working in Sun City West and know there is truly no office out there like this one!

I also am an Arizona native! I grew up in Glendale and now I live in Wittmann, with my wonderful husband, my beautiful daughter, and his three handsome sons. We have a crazy blended family and enjoy our time togther. We enjoy camping, going with friends on RZR rides, attending our kids sporting events, and enjoying our date nights when we can sneak them in!

My patients' oral health is my top priority and I provide professional dental cleanings, education, and periodontal care. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and joined The Village Dental Center in 2007. My favorite part of Hygiene is working with patients while creating relationships and helping them to become overall healthier. It is such a blessing to work with Dr. Harmon and a great team of professionals with the same vision for our patients who are just like family.

I'm married to the love of my life, Bob, we have 2 beautiful daughters, 2 wonderful son-in-laws and 2 precious grandsons. We are dog lovers and own 2 who take turns ruling the house. We love to worship at our church, play cards with friends, travel, and spend quality time with family especially our grandsons! God has truly blessed us and I am very grateful for my family, friends and my work peeps.

Hi, my name is Stephanie. I have been a dental hygienist for 14 years. I enjoy the field and its my goal to make you feel comfortable and happy. I'll even hum you a little song! I'm experienced in many aspects of dental hygiene including periodontal treatment and laser therapy.

My husband Dustin and I have 2 amazing kids. Grayson is 8 and Lyla is 7. They love all things outdoors. In my free time I enjoy experimenting with gardening, reading, or sitting quietly with fresh coffee. We have a little farm and raise chickens for eggs.

My name is Sarah and I have been a Dental Assistant since 2012. I am originally from Illinois but have lived in Arizona since 2005. I have been with my better half, Scott, since 2007. I am a busy mom with two girls, along with 2 dogs, and I recently got a new puppy! In the office it is my responsibility to keep the hygienists on track and the schedule running smoothly; I am able make sure the patients are taken care of with the highest of standards. Outside of work I enjoying anything out doors, as well as, Cross fit/Weight training.

I feel like this was meant to be my dental home! I went to dental assisting school because I have always wanted to create positive memories at the dentist and to undue the stigma that the dentist is a scary place. My goal is to take care of all of our patients like they are family and I enjoy every second of it!

I am a native to Arizona and have two children, my son Cayden and my daughter Dawson. I have a wonderful husband, Cameron who is my high school sweetheart. In my free time, I love paddle boarding and enjoying the outdoors.

Believe it or not, I am a native to Arizona! I am married with 4 kids and many critters my kids call pets. Our family enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, camping, hiking, kayaking, and exploring new fishing holes.
