Dr Kendell Ricks earned his doctor dental science degree from Creighton University in 1992. He owned his first practice in Glendale for 5 years. In 1997, he moved to the city of Bonsall then had his practice in Oceanside for about 6 years since then he has been in practice with Village Dental center. Dr. Kendell Ricks is a highly skilled Escondido dentist dedicated to providing gentle and effective care to patients of all dental backgrounds. He believes that excellent oral health begins with education and prevention and has made it his mission to enlighten patients to ways they can take greater control over their own dental health. Dr. Kendell Ricks is committed to continuing education and remaining aware of the latest advancements in oral health and dentistry. On his off-time Dr Ricks, likes to woodwork, Golf, and vacation with his family.
Dr. Courtland Duval earned his doctor Dental Science degree from USC in 1979. He then owned his own practice from 1980-1999. Dr Duval joined Village Dental Center in 1991. He is always eager to get to know his patients helping them accomplish their dental health plans and helping them enjoy their improved smile. As a dentist, he believes in a patient-centered and preventive approach to dentistry. His goal is always to exceed his patients expectations providing quality care. On his time off he enjoys playing golf and gardening.

hands down one of the best experiences for our family. my son went in on an emergency situation with a tooth and everyone in this office jumped through hoops to accommodate him. the insurance was a nightmare and the staff at Village Dental went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us out. I am truly grateful for that and will be sure that everyone knows that this office is genuinely concerned about their patients well-being. THANK YOU Village Dental Center!!!!!

I have been a Patience for over 20 years now, Today I was Taken care of by a New Staff member Kristen (Hope I spelled it correctly) She was Awesome. I Hope She will be the one to treat me from now on, Village Dental Center has always treated me right, and Glad Kristen is on Their Staff. Kudos to Dr Ricks for adjusting to this Corvid19 issue and keeping this office alive, I can't imagine trying to find another Dentist. Thank you ...Shawn

Dr. Ricks has been treating my family for over ten years, and he has shown himself to be caring and thorough every time. His office staff make you feel at home and even Dr. Ricks will joke with you. They run a timely operation and I have proof of amazing results- even with challenging treatment plans. I highly recommend Village Dental for all your family's dental care!

Been going here for many years even though it's a 70 mile r/t for me. Everyone is extra nice and accommodating for disabled people ( and for people who aren't ). Can't imagine going anywhere else.

I've been going here for 15 years and they keep my teeth healthy. I enjoy their ability to work with my busy schedule allowing minimal disruption in my daily tasks. I actually enjoy going to the dentist.

My husband and I have been patients with Village Dental for over 15 years. The entire staff , dentists, hygienists and office staff are outstanding. They are very thorough, competent. friendly and very pleasant. You are never rushed at this office. The dentists, Dr. Ricks, Dr. Sevier and Dr.Duval take time discussing and explaining your needed care and treatment. They all are very friendly, easy to talk with and always in good humor. Sherry, the front desk is a joy to see and she always greets each person by name, remembers you and, she calls everyone a day prior to your appointment to confirm! A great team.
