Dr. Herbert (Herb) Salisbury has more than 30 years of education and experience practicing comprehensive aesthetic dentistry and implant dentistry. His vision for the Venice Dentist is to offer an expansive menu of world-class dental services to the dental community, representing a healthy style of exquisite dentistry that provides the highest level of skilled, patient-focused care to help you create strong, healthy smiles for life.
Dr. Salisbury will focus on the oral-systemic link to wellness and will establish himself as a trusted local practitioner of an extensive mix of dental services, including but not limited to LAPIP, oral assessments, Chao Pinhole Technique for gum rejuvenation, implants, same-day CEREC restorations, dental implants, TMJ treatment, full-mouth rehabilitation services and more.
Dr. Salisbury received his DMD from the University of Louisville. He is also an alumnus of the Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry and the Pankey Institute. He holds Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry and Associate Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He also belongs to the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and has received instruction at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute and the Dawson Academy.
Dr. Salisbury is thrilled to be a certified provider of True Regeneration using the FDA-approved LANAP protocol. Here in Venice for the month of March and a dental issue arose. I was given The Venice Dentist to call for an appointment. From the receptionist to the side chair assistant to Dr Dixie they were wonderful! Dr Dixie went over everything about my tooth I am having issues with and what I will need to do. I couldn't ask for better service! Highly suggest this dental practice!!

Moving to a new area and finding a Dentist can be stressful. After reading positive reviews about Dr. Dixie Jernigan and her staff, we called to schedule an appt. for a cleaning and exam. We were able to get an appt within 3 days during season! My husband has dental anxiety and the entire team of Dr. Dixie, Morgan and Megan went above and beyond to ensure it was a positive stress free experience. Definitely a Five Star experience. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dr. Dixie Jernigan and the staff she has behind her. I needed some work done asap and they fit me in their schedule right away and got everything taken care of. Very good group of people working there and make you feel like family when you walk in. I had a stubborn tooth and she powered through it and I was out the door before I knew it was over. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. I'm going there from now on. Have a good day.
