Dr. Paolo Saggese graduated from the University of Delaware in 2006 with a B.A. in Biological Sciences and a Minor in Italian. He went on to receive his D.M.D. from the prestigious Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, the second oldest dental school in the country. Dr. Saggese completed a General Practice Residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY which focused on endodontic procedures and oral surgery as well as emergency medicine. Dr. Saggese is a graduate of the NYU College of Dentistry Implantology Fellowship Program. He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, or FICOI.
Dr. Saggese is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry, attending many continuing education courses to further his advancement in the fields of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He enjoys all aspects of comprehensive dental care, from preventative treatments to the placement of dental implants.
With the ever changing technology and treatments available for patients, Dr. Saggese stays up to date with the latest procedures that follow the strict guidelines of evidence based dentistry. Full scope dental care takes on a new meaning here, at the Tribeca Dentist, as patients enjoy rarely having to be referred out for treatment.

This patient was unhappy with the space between her teeth, she also had damage from grinding. Ortho treatment would have fixed the gap in her front teeth but would not have addressed any of her other cosmetic concerns. This place was great! I was looking for a new dentist for my sister, and we both may have found a new office. We were in and out quickly, and the staff was great! His dentist was so personable and knowledgeable! I didn't leave out feeling confused about what was going on, and I appreciated that.

It is the best dentist's office I have ever been to in my life. The office is modern and technically advanced. Not only did they show me x-rays of my teeth, but I also had photos taken so that I could see them understand what I needed. Dr. Saggese and all the staff on my visit were comfortable and accommodating.

I went there last week, and this place is perfect. I liked the office and staff. They were kind and inviting, everything seemed so new and clean, and it just put me at ease about the entire checkup. It's so convenient, and I was in and out very quickly. I'm going back here for my next checkup and would recommend it.

Dr. Saggese has been treating me for a long time. I can't fathom going anywhere else, and he never fails to reassure his anxious patients and is consistently thorough and skilled. The finest dental hygienist is Judy. Always a wonderful experience.

I am scared of dental visits, but Dr. Saggese and his staff made me feel comfy and relaxed. He doesn't rush through the exam, explains everything in detail, makes jokes, and really cares for his patients. I will be using him from here on and highly suggest him.

My friends went here and recommended I try them out. I went and was very impressed with Dr. Paolo and his staff. They were friendly and professional. The service and care were fast, efficient, caring, and as gentle as a tooth extraction can be. I highly recommend this dentist and his office.

No pain! I asked Dr. Saggese, and he delivered. I had a bitter taste in my mouth about a dentist, but after being referred to The Tribeca Dentist, I am well pleased. From walking in the door greeted with big beautiful smiles to walking out the door with no cavities. Dr. Saggese has resorted the flavor and confidence, removing the fear of the dentist.

I and my partner were recommended to come and try out this dentist because my friend had good positive experiences here. We visited for a cleaning, X-Ray, and examination. I had Dr.Saggese perform the work on my teeth, examined my teeth and gums, and recommended follow-up dental work, which I need. The experience was good, no negative issues, and hopefully, my follow-up will be positive as well.

I went to Dr. Saggese for years for checkups and extensive dental work. In addition to what my insurance paid, I was charged thousands of dollars for the work. I thought he was trustworthy but came to realize that he along with his office manager Sharon were not. I had extensive work done that included caps and bridges. Some had to be redone because they either did not look good or did not fit. They were redone at no charge to me. However, one tooth in the back that was capped, and felt fine to me turned out to have a ridge that separated it from the gum line. Food can get under this bridge, and cause an infection, and the tooth or bridge would have to be replaced, for an additional charge. The hygienist was the one who pointed this out to me. Dr. Saggese never mentioned this until it was pointed out by the hygienist. The last straw was when I had to have a dental checkup before knee surgery. I mentioned that a tooth was feeling sensitive. Dr. Saggese thought I needed a root canal and asked the office manager to give me the names of dentists they used for referrals. Before leaving the office, he said I should get a full head x-ray , and take the disc to the dentist who would perform the root canal. The charge was $175. I did see several dentists about the root canal, since my knee surgeon felt it should be done before my surgery. None of them found that a root canal was needed, nor did they need the disc with my complete head x-ray. They all took their own x-ray, only of the one tooth. They all also noticed the ridge in the back tooth. I called Dr. Saggese's office and asked for a refund, which was refused. I was about to go through a very serious knee surgery and did not need this additional stress. After going to this dentist for many years, I was both insulted and hurt by this action; and felt that this was a dishonest act on his part. I'm a senior citizen, and he probably thought I would not do anything about it. I would suggest that anyone who decides to see him get a second opinion after he does his evaluation and gives you the charges. He obviously did not care about keeping me as a client, so I have moved on! There are other honest and loyal dentists out here.

The dentist is professional and courteous, but it was impossible to even hear what he had to say because the hygienist, Judy, kept talking over him. She is messy, rude, and talks SO MUCH. I'm sure the dentist would be great like his other reviews say, but I don't want to go back if I have to go through Judy first.

Love this dentist office! Have been going here for about 3 years and everyone here is always so nice! Dr. Paolo is so kind and knows what he is doing and is an honest person! And Judy cleans my teeth the best anyone ever has and she is also super sweet and funny' I don't usually like going to the dentist, but I love coming to this dentist office!

I've been going to Dr. Saggese ever since he moved to the Tribeca office. He is a top-notch dentist, always careful to put you at ease and to explain options and courses of action. I recommend him without reservation. He's also a really nice guy and his office staff run things very smoothly. Dentistry should always be this good.
