I had them fix a deteriorating filing in between my molars; they got it fixed and made sure it was smooth so flossing was easy. Good experience.

So I recently went in to the Tooth Fairy because I was having severe tooth pain and an abscess about two months ago. The first few appointments were uncomfortable and they made the setting of the appointment very uncomfortable for me as I have anxiety. I was told that I needed to get a root canal and they referred me over to an Endodontist that doesn't take my insurance and is about 2 hours away from the island, including the time of the ferry. Well a few days after I voiced to the Tooth Fairy that I'm not able to get off island and that the pain was getting more intense. They finally fit me in for a root canal the next few days after, and the experience left me completely traumatized. I was rushed in to the dental chair and rushed into the procedure without communication or telling me what was going on. I started having severe anxiety in the chair as they were working on me, very clueless to what was going on, I was shaking uncontrollably and was told to hold their instruments of tools. After the procedure was finished, the dentist herself just walked away. I was just left there, confused on what was going on and what to do. I walked up to the counter and every encounter I had with the receptionist was uncomfortable for me. I later went home to rest and as the days went on from the procedure, the pain continued on. It's been two months and I'm still in pain, I can't eat the same as I used to or do much because the pain gets unbearable. Then as days went on, my face started swelling up and I've started to have jaw pain. When I brought this up, I was told that the antibiotics are causing the swelling. They've kept me on the same antibiotics and have had reactions/side effects to them that the dentist blew off when I told them about it. When voicing my symptoms and explaining the pain I'm in, they just seem to ignore it or I felt as I wasn't heard or listened to, which made me feel like a burden. After weeks of trying to get in for a check up, I was rushed in and they took multiple x-rays and made little sassy comments when they couldn't get a clear picture. I was told multiple times to bite down on the camera and my mouth got to be so shaky bc of the amount of pressure they were applying to my teeth. Once again to just be referred to the same dental office 2 hours away. After I was finished I walked up to the front desk and the dentist/receptionist were in the back room talking about what was going on, but I was never notified or told what the pain was or what was going on with my tooth. When the receptionist came out and said he was going to take care of the calls and what not, I just felt that uncomfortable feeling once again and felt like I was about to start crying. As I turned around to walk out, I started bawling and cried my whole way walking back home. They did not seem to ask me how I was feeling or doing, I felt like an emotional mess after the appointment and didn't want to go back after that. I also felt as if they were judging me for my insurance provider and treated me less than a human being for that reason. Also I forgot to mention that I was on a payment plan set dates with this dental office and was constantly hassled about money and the calls I had with them, they always pushed for money immediately. And at one point I was told that I couldn't come in for my appointment and they would cancel it unless my whole bill was paid. There is zero communication with this place and I hope you rethink your opinions for a more compassionate dental experience if you ever think about going to this place. Very unprofessional- Rate: 1/10

I've been with the Tooth Ferry since 1983. The transition between Dentist was flawless. They are caring and helpful. It's like family to me. Michelle & Scott are highly intelligent. Michelle is one of the sweetest persons you will ever meet, and she's even a dentist. The Dental Hygienist "B" is the Best Ever!!!

I love the crew here and I miss going to see them immensely. Their scheduling is always impeccable, their appointment reminders are timely, the offices are always clean and their equipment is new and wonderful. The people are friendly, helpful, and knowledgable, I always felt like I was in safe hands. Going to any other dentist will never be the same.
