Devin J. Orvin, DDS is the owner of The Tooth Doctor with locations in West Valley and Cottonwood Heights. Dr. Orvin completed his undergraduate studies in Biology at BYU and then graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. He has pursued hundreds of hours of continuing education in areas of implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, dentures, braces, clear aligner therapy (invisalign), root canal treatment and oral surgery. He has help train fellow dentists and staff to be more proficient and increase the quality of their dental care for patients. He is an advocate for both preventive and comprehensive dentistry. Dr. Orvins mission for The Tooth Doctor is to perfect the practice of dentistry one tooth at a time through the application of modern technology and systems to achieve higher quality dental care. Since Dillman left the customer service has plummeted! Twice have had appointments setup with reminders and the office was closed! We live in Lehi do is a big deal! I talked to the receptionist 2 weeks ago and told her I needed a filling and nothing was said ! Will not be back!

I have never been much of a person to complain, I myself am a dental assistant so I know the dental field well enough, but today was by far the worst dental office visit I ever had. I came in for my cleaning which the assistant did really good with my x-rays then proceed to ask if I had any problems with my teeth, I mentioned I have been having lots of pain that sometimes keeps me up. Dr. Orvin comes in to do my exam which only took him 2 minutes to "check" my teeth and explains basically in 1 sentence why I'm feeling pain then proceeds to look at my x-ray then leaves the room didn't even ask if I had any other questions, he just walked away. I also received my retainer today and my retainer was poorly made that I couldn't even put it on, so I told the assistant that I would just take it and adjust it at my work. I believe I paid a lot for me to have these poorly made retainers. If I would of known that they made them like that I would of just done it at my own job. You can totally tell in the picture that my retainer is not made well. I as a dental assistant don't recommend this office I've worked with others who treat their patients way better.

I was having some intense tooth pain and they got me in same day and they took care of the issue quick and painlessly. Everyone was very friendly and I felt like I was in good hands. They did seem very busy and were moving quite fast, but despite this they didn't seem rushed and I felt like they took the time they needed to fix the issue despite how quickly they moved through the process.

I drive 25 miles to come see the Tooth Doctor team! From the receptionists to the new trainee to Dr. Orvin...they all treat you like gold and take the time to answer any questions or concerns....and believe me, I have plenty of concerns about going to the dentist...haha. I recently went in on a last minute appointment for a much neglected set of choppers, after a few x-rays, we were down to business, drills were drilling, polishers were buffing and yes...syringes were syringing, painlessly I might add. Give'm a try, I think you'll be happy you did. Happy smiles at my house!
