The Florida Dental Associations (FDA) member dentists make a special commitment to uphold the highest ethical principles, practice standards and mission of the FDA. All FDA members go through a thorough licensing process and are held to a moral and ethical standard by their peers and the Florida Board of Dentistry. FDA members engage in sharing best practices with their peers, advocate for improving access to dental care and have access to more than 500 hours of continuing education to keep them at the forefront of state-of-the-art dental techniques.
Founded in 1859, the not-for-profit American Dental Association (ADA) is the nations largest dental association. The ADA is the leading source of oral health related information for dentists and their patients. The ADA is committed to its members and to the improvement of oral health for the public. The ADAs vision is to be the recognized leader on oral health with its mission to help all members succeed. You may be most familiar with the ADA for the more than 300 oral health products, including toothpastes, dental floss, toothbrushes, mouth rinses, denture adherents and chewing gums which carry the ADA Seal of Acceptance.
Founded in 1952, the AGD is a professional organization of general dentists who are dedicated to the goal of lifelong learning. In order to maintain their membership in the AGD, our dentists are required to take 75 hours of continuing dental education over a three year period. The AGD rigidly enforces this standard. Members of the Academy of General Dentistry are able to access the most up-to-date educational resources to share with patients and the community.
The Staff of The Tooth Doctor is dedicated to patients comprehensive oral health with a focus on prevention. We pride ourselves in providing a highly personalized service in a beautiful and relaxing environment. We focus on patient service and comfort, offer state of the art technology and treatments and our office is open Monday through Friday for the convenience of our patients.
Dr. Martinez obtained her DMD degree in 2008 from Tufts School of Dental Medicine, Boston MA, and graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, FL in 2002 with a Masters in Public Health. She was a National Health Service Corps Scholar recipient from 2008-2013 and provided dental care to the under-served of southwest and the east coast of Florida.

Dr. Martinez is the best dentist! My friend Julia recommended Dr. Martinez to me. I'm glad to find such a caring dentist. There is no hidden fees. The customer service is excellent! I would recommend her to everybody.

Honestly hate going to the dentist or have anxiety... the whole staff is great and makes you feel welcomed and comfortable! Moved to the area and I would highly recommend !

This place is absolutely amazing! I honestly wish I could give them 10 stars. My dentist was Claudia Martinez, and I would suggest her to anyone in the greater Tampa area. She and her entire staff are so skilled and professional. The atmosphere is welcoming and extremely comforting (and we are talking about going to the dentist here!). Please, anybody needing dental work of ANY kind, go and see the amazing staff at The Tooth Doctor!

Being a Washington State transplant 2 years ago I needed to find a dentist. The first one I tried was also on Manhattan. His equipment was old, as in the some of the same equipment my dentist of the 70' & 80's had used...who still uses the circular spit basin? The bathroom was dirty, the long-armed equipment up high hadn't seen a dustrag in years. I wasn't happy. On the way home I passed the Tooth Doctor sign. I checked out her reviews and made an appt. Dr Martinez is nice, accommodating, and all her staff is nice. The office is immaculate and welcoming with a lot of light and restful pastels-beautifully decorated. I highly recommend the Tooth Doctor!

I've been using this dentist for over 2 years now. Have had half a dozen routine cleanings and one crown done. The dentist is incredibly skilled, very professional, and fairly priced. The assistant and front office staff are also friendly and all work well as a team. I will continue to go here as long as I live close enough to travel here, good dentist offices like this one are hard to come by!

First time here visiting family and they got me in immediately! The front office staff and dentist were extremely nice and professional. They didn't hesitate to go right to work to help me out. Definitely recommend them wish they were my regular dentist.

Dr. Martinez is wonderful. She has helped improve my smile and oral hygiene. So glad to have found her and Danielle, the coordinator. The customer service is superb. The reminder calls help tremendously. Love the environment. Everything from the stained glass windows to the children's play area brings about a certain openness to the place. They also provide dental plans for those who do not have insurance. See photos attached.

Dr.Martinez is nothing short of amazing. My husband and I both go to her. You never wait a long time in the lobby, she's super friendly and professional. I had my wisdom teeth extracted and was very stressed and she made it a breeze. I will never go to a another dentist. We love Dr. Martinez!!
