The BEST pediatric dentist. Dr. Banakus is the most gentle, knowledgeable, understanding, and kind dentist; she makes my girls so comfortable! The office is clean and kid-friendly. My girls LOVE going to the dentist.

No one wants to have a dental emergency especially with a child, and after days of calling and talking to a few dentist in the south pointe area without any callbacks my immune compromised toddler had to go to the dentist asap! Thankfully Jeane (spelling?) answered and showed compassion and worked us in to see Dr Romero who was so sweet and patient and awesome too! From the moment we walked in the office was so kid friendly and nice. The staff was so welcoming and it took minutes before we were able to go back and get treatment. I can't say enough great things about this office and my experience with their team.

My son is not even two and we just had our first experience at smiling turtle and it was fantastic!! I love the way they handle everything, super nice staff!!!

Absolutely love The Smiling Turtle Pediatric Dentistry! This practice came highly recommended to me after struggling to find the perfect pediatric dentist! The waiting area is clean & open with fun technology/play area for the kiddos. The staff is friendly & professional from the phone conversations to in-office interaction. Allison, our hygienist, was such a delight to work with for my 5 & 2 year old - she was so professional and great with the kids! Dr. Banakus was wonderful, so professional, kind & caring! She was very thorough & knowledgeable in the care for my kids' dental health! Look forward to growing with this practice!

My son has been going to The Smiling Turtle since we moved to the area in 2019, and it has always been a great experience. We've never had to wait for our appointment, and the whole team has been wonderful.

Love them! After my son took a tumble that bruised his front tooth, they were able to get me in the same day to take a look at it. We see them for our regular check ups as well but they were great at easing his fears after the fall and put my mind at ease as well. Super friendly and caring!

Smiles all over . Great customer service from start to finish. Staff is super friendly and definitely puts in some extra care for the little ones. Dr Banakus is very thorough and gentle with kids. My little ones can't wait for their next appointment!

We had a great first experience with the Smiling Turtle! My children are 2 and 5 years old and were very comfortable and happy during their routine visit. Allison and Dr. Romero were wonderful. They were able to do a same day procedure for my son, after their cleanings & exam. My son was raving about the coin prize machine afterwards too. Highly recommend them!

Dentist and staff were all very kind and shared a lot of great tips. My daughter needs some pretty extensive work and they were able to come up with a great plan that causes her minimal stress and was not extreme instead aiming towards conservative maintenance where we could. My daughter was happy and comfortable the entire exam.

I honestly cannot say enough about The Smiling Turtle! Our experience since our very first visit has been nothing short of amazing, and today they truly exceeded any expectations that I could've previously had. Both of my children had to have work performed, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff did such a wonderful job of explaining every single detail, and reassuring both children (and Mama... LOL) They also kept me informed throughout the entire procedure with any updates. As always, they started on time (they actually worked us in 30 min early) and they finished on time. Of course, my kiddos don't mind because of all of the fun toys and activities, including the big tv and tablets. My kids love the end when they get to choose a prize, and they also got frozen fruit push pops which really made them smile! I'm so happy that we found this place, it's absolutely worth the drive for us as a family, to have a practice that is so thoughtful, compassionate, and caring. THANK YOU to the receptionists, hygienists, dental assistants, and Drs.at the Smiling Turtle!

Great with my 2.5 year old! They were very quick and didn't push it at her first visit when she started to get a little fussy. She got a token at the end to get a toy, and a little gift bag of dental goodies. Overall great experience, we will be happy here!
