Dr. Crystal Ellis is a native of The Bronx, NY. She became a resident of the Washington DC metro area in 1998 when she decided to attend Howard University Undergraduate Program to study biology and chemistry. Upon completion of her undergraduate degree in 2002, her love ofresearch took her abroad to the University of Ghana in Legon, Ghana to do research at theNoguchi Memorial Institute for Medical research.
In 2003 Dr. Ellis was accepted into Howard University College of Dentistry where she later received her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2007. After receiving her degreeshe returned to her hometown of Bronx, NY to further her education and training at The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center General Practice Residency Program. Dr. Ellis spent a year in residency providing comprehensive treatment to a diverse patient population in areas of dentistry including Oral Surgery, Pedaitric Dentistry, Endodontics (root canals), Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics (Crowns, Bridges, and dentures) Periodontics (gum health), Implant restoration, and Cosmetic dentistry.
Following the completion of her residencyDr. Ellisreturned to the Washington DC metro area, a city she grew to love, and continued her passiongiving people healthy, beautiful smiles. In July 2012 Dr. Crystal Ellisestablished The Smile Suite so that she could give her patients a pleasant dental experience in a relaxing and aesthetic environment . Dr. Ellis is a very compassionate and gentle dentist and she takes pride in providing her surrounding community with quality,affordable dental care.She is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Society.Her training includes Invisalign, Six Month Smiles Cosmetic braces, Lumineers, Snap on Smile, and Hiossen dental implant placement.

I really enjoyed my visit, the staff was very friendly, and my filling didn't hurt at all. I was nervous at first but they made me feel very comfortable.

As always, again today I had good time in hands of Dr.Crystal Ellis, why do I say so, she is very experienced, knowledgeable, kind, cares, the list is long. If you are looking for such, I recommend her Clinic in Silver Spring you will never regret. Her staff is so good and caring too, in the passed before her Clinic I used to miss my appointments, not anymore Good job Dr.Crysital Ellis

My experience at smile Suite today was great. The technicians are pleasant and efficient. I had a crown put in and my dentist explained the procedure for the permanent restoration placement. I was very pleased with the results.

I've had my teeth cleaned and checked here three times now. It's now extremely easy to schedule an appointment online. I actually was able to get an appointment the very next day. The receptionist greeted me by name and was super friendly. The hygienist was an expert, who knew her craft. She gave me a though cleaning, exams, and fluoride treatment. No pain whatsoever. Finally, Dr. Ellis, who is also very pleasant looked at my teeth and gave me the AOK. Will be back.

The ladies in this office are amazing! Great customer service, amazing hospitality during procedures, great job at making patients feel comfortable and welcome. They always take the time to ensure you understand all paperwork and what's being done to you as well which is a big plus since I'm the person who likes to know all details LOL. Ladies keep up the great work, you guys are greatly appreciated!

Superb service! Smile Suite Dental deserves 5 stars as that is the level of service I received! From my initial phone call to schedule, a follow up prior to my appointment, checking in with Silvia, the amazing work done by my hygienist Katia, and Dr. Ellis herself---all worth it!
