We are a single doctor owned dental practice who loves our Tillamook and Oregon Coast community in all its diversity. We have served the region for over 30 years and have developed meaningful relationships and friendships with many of our patients all along the way.
We value and respect all who walk through our doors, from young to elderly, from short to tall, from the talkative to the taciturn and everywhere in between. Tillamook and Oregon Coast are blessed with a strong sense of community spirit and we are proud to contribute to it, and to always embrace a spirit of inclusivity, kindness and service for every culture and person.
Our office is a comfortable and modern facility that uses the latest technology and techniques to make your dental experience as positive as possible. Good technology doesn't replace great people though; that's why the secret ingredient in our office will always be the people we work with. We want to make sure you are treated with a joyful spirit, a kind manner, and the knowledge that we care about every patient.
Dr. Long grew up in Seattle before attending the Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Southern California. After graduating in 1980, he moved with his young family to Manzanita, Oregon, where he opened his first dental practice. In 1986 he broadened his base of operations by opening an office in Tillamook. This quickly became his home office.
In 1990 he moved into a new facility with all the amenities of a progressive dental practice. He continues to serve the dental needs of the entire county. Some patients who have moved away continue to come regularly for dental care from distances such as Portland, California, and even Alaska. He has a following of loyal patients who value the quality of dentistry he is known for.
Some patients describe Dr. Long as meticulous to detail, warm and caring, good with children, reassuring, gentle, attentive to the unique needs of the elderly, and skilled in meeting the dental needs of the entire family. He and his wife, Sue, have seven children and ten grandchildren, ages one month to twelve years!
Dr. Long regularly attends current and progressive dental education courses and utilizes the most revolutionary technology in order to provide his patients with sustainable comfort and smiles they can be proud of. He is committed to providing exceptional dentistry with extraordinary service.

I have been a patient with the Smile Studio for 4 years, since moving to the coast. Not only do they care, they give EXCELLENT care. I love love Dr. Long and Sue and all their staff. They have the utmost best for each person that walks through their doors. My experience has been a fantastic one. The genuinely care about each patient (more like a friend) that they treat! I love the atmosphere, I am put at ease and if I am a bit nervous (I mean really...who loves going to the dentist?), I end up laughing at something. I went today and Dr. Long had a cockatiel on his shoulder. I told him he needed a patch and a peg leg. I laugh a lot when I'm there...sure it is hard with your mouth pried open, but nonetheless...they are the very best people. They are kind, compassionate, respectful and they have integrity and morals. Love them!!!

I've been going to Dr Lee Long for 10 months now, and have never been to a better dentist. He does a full mouth exam instead of just looking at my teeth. He's also fixed a couple complicated teeth issues that my prior dentist just noted as a "watch". The whole office is efficient and very friendly.

Our family absolutely loves Dr. Long, his staff, and Clancy, his cockatiel! He is very conscientious about his methods of pain- free dental care for my girls which is what I value in a dentist. He not only makes visiting virtually pain free, but he also has a side gig of being a comedian. We have never laughed so much at the dentist! My daughters actually look forward to their visits. His office is very clean with all the up- to- date equipment, and the latest in communications and reminders. We recommend Dr Long and staff 100%!
